"I was-nevermind. Continue sucking on each others faces." Harry said and stormed out. I heard the front door slam shut. I jumped at the loud noise. No words were said. Me and ashton just sat on his bed in silence for a while. I heard my phone going off in the living room. I walked out, Ashton followed. I looked at the caller. I froze. Should I answer? My mother hasn't tired to get ahold of me for years. I haven't even talked to my brothers. I clicked the button.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone. My voice cracking. At first silence. My heart racing. My body shaking. And then the voice I haven't heard since I was 15 spoke.
"Hey baby. I haven't heard your voice in such a long time." Her voice was smooth. I pictured her face. I could feel the tears falling but I didn't want her to know I was crying.
"Maybe because you kicked me out of the house when I was 15 and never called." I spoke. I was trying to hold my anger back.
"I know. I'm so sorry baby. I love you you know that right?" Her voice was starting to shake making me cry more.
" You don't love me and I don't love you. You are not my mother, I am not your daughter. You have the boys-"
"They died."
Silence.
"What?"
"They got hit by a drunk driver when Jeramey was 18." She had started balling. I dropped the phone. Everything stopped. I dropped the floor. Ashton ran over to me. He say saying something but all I could hear was this loud ringing noise. Tears falling down my cheeks.
My vision was blurred. I held a straight face. My body feeling numb. I closed my eyes trying to forget everything. I sat on the floor till everything hit me at once.
I just spoke with my mother. My brothers are dead. I lost Harry. I lost Maddy. Ashton looks scared of me.
I screamed. Balling. I stood up a ran out of the room. I could barley see. I bumped into a few people. Once I ran out of the building I started walking. People staring at me. Was walking back to the hotel I was supposed to be staying at. I left at like 2:30 and made it at the hotel at 5. My feet blistered. Tears stained on my cheeks. My hair all messed up. I walked up to my room. I knocked on the door. Waiting for Maddy to answer. I could feel the tears starting to build up.
I saw Maddy and just broke down. I hugged her. Balling. Barely breathing. She was crying as well. She let go apologizing over and over again. I told her to shut up.
"Maddy my, my mom called me." I said then continued crying. She was silent.
"What did she say." The anger in her voice was easy to spot out which is unusual because I'm the one who is usually mad.
"My brothers; died i-in a car accident." My breathing getting shorter. A pain in my chest. I heard a voice somewhere father in the room. I looked up from Maddy's shoulder where I had decided to hide my crying face. I saw Luke. I had no energy to be mad.
I walked pass both of them to my bed. I layer down to sleep.
"Want me to bring you coffee?" Maddy said. I smiled and nodded at her. She kisses my forehead.
"I love you Kylene."
"I love you too Maddy."
We hugged and she left to get my coffee. I sat in my bed with a tired expression. It was a little before Luke stepping into the room.
"Hey.." You could feel the tension in the air.
"Hi." I said with no emotion.
"Are you okay?"
"Why do u care?" I said with a little attitude.
"Because I do have a heart u know." I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to argue.
"If u have a heart then why do you wanna hurt Maddy. Why do you want to put such a smart, talented, beautiful, sweet, and just flat out perfect girl? She not like other girls and she means everything to me. That's why I'm so protective over her."
Silence.
"I don't want to hurt her. I mean at first I just wanted to fuck her but like u said she's perfect. I really like her and that scares me. I fell in love once only to get my hear ripped out more than once. I thought all girls were the same but your right she's not like other girls. I really like her Kylene. I don't want to hurt her. I'm sorry for the way I acted before."
I only nodded and watched Luke leave the room. I laid down. My phone buzzed. It was Ashton. I didn't want to speak to him so I sent a message saying that I was with Maddy and that I was fine. I fell asleep before Ashton had a chance to respond.
