"Don't worry, I'm on my way damn." I roll my eyes to the phone. Maddy my bestfriend since we were kids was complaining that I wasn't there to help her pack, like I'm going to anyway. We're getting ready to leave for New York. Since Maddy is a famous singer we have been traveling the world for two months now, and our plane was about to leave an I was at the mall shopping with her credit card, but what she dosen't know can't hurt her.
I pull up at the hotel we have been staying at for about a week. I climb out of the car grabbing the bags. My heels echoing against the cement. I step in and wink at the hot group of men standing in the lobby. I smile to myself stepping in the elevator, pushing number 25. I wait as the elevator goes up and the number of messages from Maddy go up as well. I make my way to our room. We had a sweet, not that I'm complaining but we could do so much better.
The room we had been staying in was not very big. There were two twin sized beds, one bathroom that smelled like cheese to me. The so called 'living room' was small and smelly and the kitchen was just a fridge. Such a sweet right.
I knock on the door waiting for Maddy to answer. A girl pops out from behind the door. She was a bit taller than me, her bright green eyes sparkle in the light. Her long blonde, messy hair pulled up into a bun on her head. Her big bright smile making me roll my eyes, I push passed Maddy. I walk into our bedroom and grab my suitcase which was already packed by Maddy.
"What time do we need to leave?" I ask as Maddy walks in behind me grabbing the bags out of my hands. I spin around to watch her poke her head in the bags.
"About 5:30, what did you get?" She answers pulling out the clothes. I nodded even though she couldn't see me. I pulled out my phone ignoring her question since she was looking at what I got. It was about 4 so we had plenty of time for an early dinner.
"Come on were going out for dinner before the plane, get ready." I say and grab the bag then start stripping. I hear Maddy laugh and ruin the comforting silence.
"Where we going?" She asks.
I think to myself a bit while I take off my bra, the best feeling by the way. I pull on my new sports bra and sweater. I pull up my pants and look over at Maddy. She was brushing her hair out. I smile taking the brush away from her.
"Hey I was using that." She yells at me. I laugh and brush out my hair, not that I had much anyway.
"Not any more." I laugh and continue brushing out my short hair. Maddy rolls her eyes but stops and smiles. Weird girly, high pitched sounds come out of her mouth making me cringe.
"Let's go to Taco Bell!" She says answering her own question. I hold back the eye roll and sigh.
"You are a famous rock star and you want to eat at Taco Bell?" Her instantaneous nod made me laugh so hard I couldn't help but say yes. After we are both were done getting ready we get everything out of the hotel and head to the lobby. We check out, well Maddy checks out while I put all of our stuff in the car. I wait for her in the car while I blast the music playing 5SOS my favorite band! I sing alone before Maddy taps the window making my heart drop.
"Dude what the hell! You scared the shit out of me." I yell as Maddy laughs and I couldn't help but join in. We hadn't been laughing like this in a while.
"Sorry but I need you to unlock my door." I catch my breath and unlock the door. Maddy climbs in and we make our way to the damn Taco Bell.
We pull up and hop out of the car. I breath in the smell of rain and freshly cut grass. I give a sly smile to Maddy as we walk inside. I order our food while Maddy talks to a few fans. It's kinda hard that Maddy's famous. I mean we never really get to do the things we used to with out people covering her. I frown as I watch her interact with her fans. my way over. I cover the frown with a smile and push my way threw the group getting dirty looks from girls and guys, not like I care. I was almost through, when I get shoved all the way back.
"Move you ass hole!" I yell over everyone else's voice. The woman just ignors me making me even more pissed.
"Hey bitch I told you to get the fuck out of my way!" Now I got the woman's attention. She turns around and eyes me up and down.
"What the hell you gonna do?" I laugh and look at her in disgust. I was about the pop the bitch when Maddy grabs my arm pulling me away. I don't say anything and neither does Maddy. We grab our food and get back in the car. We ate in silence before Maddy broke it once again.
"I know it's hard, I know what it feels like-"
"No you don't know what it feels like! Your the one with all the attention. I was always there for you as kids and even all though's times you were drunk and being stupid. I was the one that held your held over the toilet while you threw up everything but your memories! I'm the one who stands in the background and watches you rule the fucking world and what do I get out of it? A place to stay? Your money? A ride around the world?.....That's not what I want. I want our old friend ship back where it was me and you against the world and as cliche as that sounds I really do fucking mean it."
Maddy said no words and neither do I for a while. I hop out of the car to take a walk. The wind blowing my hair around my face. I think back to how close we were before Maddy became famous. We were so close but lately all we have been doing is fighting and me being left out of everything. I check the time and see that its 5:30. I make my way back to the car witch Maddy was still in when I hoped in.
"Let's go." I said sternly.
No other words were said after we pulled out of the parking lot and headed to the airport. I hoped out of the car first. I grabbed my things and headed inside. I had to wait a long time before she had even made it inside because all the damn paparazzi's. Maddy sat by me while we waited for our plane to be called.
Once the plane was called, Maddy went threw the back, while I went threw the same was as everyone else, not that I'm complaining. I walk inside the plane and take a seat. Me and Maddy were supposed to be sitting next to each other but she sits right in front of me so I'm guessing she changed seats.
I rub my eyes going threw everything in my head when someone taps my shoulder. Thinking it was Maddy, my anger starting.
"What do you want?" I almost yell. I open my eyes to a tall young man standing beside me. Accept one thing, I knew this man and we weren't friends or anything. He was in my favorite band.
