New School Year

Jessica's POV

Its sixth year im a Gryffindor and my boyfriend Tyler Skeeter is a Slytherin. I was told he's bad news and they were right when we were alone he hit me and just abused me but I cant leave him. Today there's a new student coming to hogwarts I hope he's friendly.
"Did you hear about the new kid?" Hermione asked Ron, Harry and I.
"its not like we need another student here there are so many already." Ron replied.
"Well they must have wanted to learn more than they have been wherever they were before." Harry said to Ron.
"I just hope that they're nice and that I can be friends with them." I said.
"You wanna be friends with everyone Jess you're too sweet for these people." Hermione said to me in a worried tone, maybe she's right but I cant help it, it's how my dad raised me. My mom on the other hand tought me to fight by hitting me all the time. I also can do magic without a wand but I havent told anyone about it. Dumbledore was talking about the new year and the new student and the first years. The first years got sorted into their houses then the new kid came in. I'm not gonna lie he's kinda cute but its not like I could actually check him out I'm taken by Ritta Skeeters son. The new kid gets sorted into Gryffindor and we all stand up and cheer for him as he sits with my small group.
"Hey I'm Jessica Bews, and these people are Ron Weasley, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger." I introduced us all and put my hand out to shake his hand.

Lorenzo's POV

I walk into the great hall towards the sorting hat I sit down on the stool in front of the whole school. A professor places the sorting hat on my head.
"Hm.. Brave, loyal, daring, must be GRYFFINDOR." A whole table just stood up and started clapping. I stood up and my robes changed slightly the I go and sit down by this blonde girl who sat next to a red head and across from them was a black haired boy and a light brown haired girl.
"Hey I'm Jessica Bews and these people are Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger." She introduces her friends to me with her hand out.
"I'm Lorenzo Berkshire nice to meet you all." I say as I shake her hand and smile at her. She was beautiful honestly. We all ate, talked and laughed soon enough we had to go to the common room. I sit on the couch then I see Jess walking out of the common room.
"Hey Bews where are you going?" I asked her.

"I'm going to see my boyfriend." she replied. Boyfriend? I didnt know she had a boyfriend.
"Who's the lucky guy?" I asked
"A Slytherin named Tyler Skeeter" she replied
"oh have fun Bews."
"It's Jess"
"What?" I say confused.
"Call me Jess" She replies smiling at me.
"Ok Jess call me Enzo then." I smile back at her as she leaves.

Jessica's POV

I go to to the bell tower to meet up with Tyler. I lean aginst the rail waiting for him, I feel kind of nervous and scared. I hear footstep coming up and I see the top of Tylers head.
"Hey baby girl." He said to me. "So what's up with you and the new kid?" He added.
"Nothing I just met him."
"you were having fun with him."
"we became friends but nothing else is going to happen!" He punches me for talking back with an attitude. I hold my eye thats bleeding a little and I started to tear up.
"You know what Tyler we're done." I say to him pissed off and he shoved me aginst the wall and puts his wand to my neck.
"If you try breaking up with me again I'll Crucio your ass." He threatens me.
"I'm going to bed im tired." I go back to my common room and I see Enzo sitting at the same place he was when I left and I try sneaking away but he cought me and I cover my eye.
"Jess? Are you ok?" He asks me walking over to me worried.
"Yeah I'm fine Enzo dont worry about it."
"what happened to your eye?" He asks in a worried tone.
"Nothing its perfectly fine. I'm fine." He saw me tearing up and he slowly and gently removes my hand from my face and see that my eye is kinda bleeding still.
"Who did this?" He asked sounding really pissed off.
"No one I ran into something." I lied looking away but he lifts my chin gently for me to look at him.
"Please dont lie to me Jess, I know we're not close but i just want to help you." He says to me.
"T-Tyler did it, but please dont do anything please he'll do it again Enzo please." I beg him while I'm crying scared.
"We're sharing a room right?" He asks me.
"Yeah we are. I'm so tired."
"Lets get your eye cleaned up and get you to bed." He says as we start walking to our room and we go into the bathroom, him grabbing a washcloth and some ointment. He cleans up the blood while I'm sitting on the counter just looking at him. He's quite handsome his brown eyes are so beautiful and I really like how fluffy his hair is too.
"Hey Enzo?"
"Yeah?"
"Could you not tell anyone about this please?" I asked him and he looks me in the eye.
"Of course I'll keep it between us."
"Thank you."
