NOOR ~ A Tale Of Love

PINKY pt2

Ada was scared to death.All the negative thoughts came rushing back to her.Azael welcomed Ada's cousin inside.

"arrey tumhe kaise pata?" asked Azael to Kabir wondering how he knew Ada is in hospital.

(Hey..how did you know ?).

"mujhe toh sab pata hai,haina Ada ?" said Kabir looking at Ada and giving her a dirty look which was obviously unknown to Azael.

(I know everything,right Ada ?).

Azael did sense some discomfort in the air. he saw how ada was so attentive as If somebody is going to attack her. He  moved closer to her and interwined their hands. He felt how cold her hand was. meanwhile Kabir was burning is jealousy.

she was supposed to be mine he thought.

"Ada, aapke cousin aaye hai kuch toh baat karo" said Azael while looking back at Kabir.

(Ada,your cousin has come please talk something ).

"jii, bas mein thaki huyi hu" said Ada and managed to not freak out.

(Yes,it's just I'm tired).

Both men started talking about business and politics. Ada felt extremely uncomfortable and Azael felt it too so he excused both of them and went outside letting Ada breathe in relief. Azael and Kabir went to the hospital canteen and had some chai. after some more chit chat Kabir left and Azael returned back to Ada.

"doctor said that we can go back home,toh phir chalen?" asked Azael lending his hand out for his wife to take it.

(Let's go?).

Ada nodded her head and stood up while holding his hand for support. her left arm was injured and injuries  on her legs  and the left side of her head too. she felt light headed as soon as she got up,she was about to fall when azael grabbed her by her waist and held her closer to him. Ada stiffened in his hold. she looked back at him.

"relax" was all Azael said to Ada as they both started walking outside the hospital,his hand still around her waist.

kabir stood there burning in rage after looking at the couple in front of him. he put the cigarette down and pressed it down with his shoes.

Azael made sure that Ada is settled down properly and jogged to his side and started the car. it was a comfortable silence as they reached home. he took her to the house and made her sit in the living area. soon,his mom,dad and haya came to visit Ada.

Azael had an urgent work at office so he returned to office but not before telling haya to stay with his wife until he is back. after some time mr and Mrs ali left leaving haya and Ada to themselves.

"kya tumhe room Tak chod do?" asked haya nervously because she doesn't know what to talk to her bestfriend anymore she feels that they grown apart.

(Shall I leave you to your room?).

"yes please" said Ada as she stood up with the help of Ada. she has small injuries in left side of her leg too which is unknown to many as it's covered with her clothes.

once Ada settle down on the bed haya turned to leave  but stopped when Ada said sorry.

"sorry yaar" said Ada as she chocked her tears. haya immediately went to her side and hugged her as both the best friend's cried in each other's arms.

No questions were asked,no answers were given but both needed a hug.

Haya left to the main house to get some food for Ada. Ada felt much lighter now. she needed her bestfriend. she was about to close her eyes when a hand grabbed her neck . she opened her eyes shocking and gasping for air. she could recognise those eyes anywhere. those eyes that broke her,those eyes that haunt her!
