Time had lost all meaning for C1-Austrum. His world, once a sterile white cube, had expanded and contracted in ways he could never have imagined. Each new object, each cryptic sign from Libertas, had been a stepping stone on a path he had hoped would lead to freedom. But freedom was not what he had envisioned.
The thirteenth object was a door. It was a simple, unadorned piece of wood, but to C1-Austrum, it was a beacon of hope. He approached the door, touched the smooth surface. It was a barrier, a boundary between his world and the unknown.
The fourteenth object was a handle. It was a small, metallic object, attached to the door. C1-Austrum grasped the handle, turned it. The door opened, revealing a wall of solid white. It was a disappointment, a crushing blow to his hopes.
But then, Libertas sent a new sign. It was a simple symbol, etched into the door. C1-Austrum recognized it from the book, understood its meaning. It was a command, a single word: Push. C1-Austrum pushed the door, and it swung open. Beyond it was a world of color and sound, a world so different from his white cube. It was overwhelming, a sensory overload. But it was also beautiful, a symphony of sights and sounds.
C1-Austrum stepped out of the cube, into the world. He was free, free from his white prison. But freedom was not what he expected. The world outside was a chaos he couldn't understand, a cacophony he couldn't tune out. He was a prisoner of his own senses, trapped in a world he didn't belong.
The onslaught of the outside world was relentless. The colors were too bright, the sounds too loud. The smells were overpowering, the tastes overwhelming. He was drowning in a sea of sensory overload, struggling to keep his head above water.
C1-Austrum tried to retreat, to return to his white cube, but the door had vanished. There was no going back, no escape from the world. He was trapped, a prisoner in a world of color and sound.
In the end, freedom was his downfall. C1-Austrum couldn't bear the weight of the world, the crushing reality of his existence. The world outside was a chaos he couldn't control, a cacophony he couldn't silence. He was
a stranger in a strange land, a prisoner of his own freedom.
In his despair, C1-Austrum made a choice. It was a choice born of desperation, of utter hopelessness. He chose the only escape he had left. He commited suicide.
