IMAGINE
hayden felt empty. she wasn't quite sure why. she had her best friends, she had survived the recent dread doctors attack on her, she helped people. so why did she feel so... empty? so... lost.
what she didn't know was that you were taken by the ghost riders. remember what the red means, my love. were the last words you spoke to her before the ghost riders took you and erased you from existence.
hayden arrived at her house with her best friends, liam, corey and mason. the four of them went up to her bedroom, pulling out their textbooks and studying.
"hayden," mason spoke. "why do you have a ball of red yarn? i didn't know you knit."
hayden stared at the ball of red yarn that sat on her desk, a strip of it hanging off the edge. she tilted her head in confusion. "i don't," she replied slowly. she got up and walked over to it, everyone watching her with squinted eyes, and she grabbed it. she stared at the red ball of yarn in her hand when something - a memory - flashed in her mind.
you were sitting on hayden's bed, knitting, as she was sitting at her desk, studying. she looked back at you. "why do you always use red when you knit?"
"it's my favourite colour," you responded. you paused to look at her, love pooling your eyes as her stared at her beauty. "and it represents love." you smiled. hayden blushed, standing up and walking over to you, planting a kiss upon your lips.
the night you were taken; remember what the red means, my love. the red means i love you. hayden gasped. "red," she whispered. "the red means i love you." the boys glanced confusingly at each other. "yn."
