"So now on to last night's epic WrestleMania 32. Defending Heavyweight Champion, Triple H took on Roman Reigns for the title and WWE Diva, Kailani Silva won her title against defending champion Charlotte Flair in a Divas fatal-4-way against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks". Tamron Hall said.
"Do you know how lucky we are this morning?" Willie Geist asked his co-anchor Tamron.
"I know". Tamron responded.
"The winners, the new champions, flew overnight from Dallas to be here with us right now. So please welcome, with dry eyes included, the new WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world, Roman Reigns". Willie announced as Roman walked out onto the set with his championship in his hands.
"And as Roman enters, next up on our bill, WWE Women's World Champion, Kailani Silva, come on out". Tamron announced as the in studio audience cheered and Kailani smiled and walked out to the makeshift 'ring' that the Today Show had built just for her and Roman's interview.
Roman held the ropes up for his wife as she smiled at him. "Thanks, champion". She said to him as she lifted up her dress a little bit and entered the makeshift ring.
"Oh my gosh, what a gentleman you are. See she has on a little bit more than yesterday". Tamron said to Roman as Kailani greeted Willie.
"Champion, congratulations". Willie said to Kailani as she smiled and thanked him.
"You look beautiful". Tamron said to Kailani as they shook hands with each other.
"Thank you". Kailani said smiling.
"Oh my gosh. After that night last night". Tamron said as Kailani and Roman made their way over to their seats.
"I know". Kailani replied.
"How did you recover so quickly?" Tamron asked Kailani.
"Makeup". Kailani answered simply with a laugh. "Lots of makeup".
"Now I was told already that you have, Kailani bruising on your arm, I mean, it was a tough night". Tamron said as Kailani got situated on her stool.
"Oh, yes ma'am it was". Kailani replied.
"How do you feel?" Tamron asked.
"Um, it really hasn't hit me yet. I haven't had a moment to soak it all in really". Kailani said.
"Roman, it was a crazy night too. There were 101,000 and change fans in Arlington, Texas last night. What was the vibe like what was the energy in the building?" Willie asked Roman.
"To be honest our fan base the WWE Universe is so great. It - it didn't start last night. They were there Tuesday. Even at the hotel. Everywhere I went in Dallas I saw WWE Universe everywhere. People with shirts on, people were supporting. Everybody wants pictures it was a good time so that's what we do. We take over a town and -" Roman said as Kailani cut him off to chime in.
"It's a week long event. WrestleMania was seven hours and the chants never stopped. The energy was the same from when the pre-show started to the main event and the Women's. They were really loud for the Women. I'm just sayin'". Kailani said smiling.
The interview continued on with Kailani and Roman continuing to answer questions about Wrestlemania and their respective wins the night before on the grandest stage of them all.
