Daniel Bryan's music hits and the WWE Universe goes insane as he walks out to the ramp and begins doing the "yes" chant along with the fans as he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan". Greg Hamilton announced as Daniel climbed onto the turnbuckle and continued on with the "yes" chant before jumping down and walking over to the other side of the ring and grabbing a mic before walking back to the middle of the ring and addressing the WWE Universe.
"Are you guys ready for a great night tonight?" Daniel asked the WWE Universe who all cheered in response. "I am proud of the Women's Evolution here on Smackdown Live. And tonight, we have two huge women's matches. First, we have a Smackdown Women's Championship match where the Champion, Naomi faces off against Lana". The WWE Universe cheered. Daniel then glanced up at the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase for a minute before looking back at the WWE Universe. "And if that's not enough, we have Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Kailani Silva, Natalya, Carmella and Tamina in the second ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match!" The WWE Universe cheered at this. "Where the winner will be, whoever climbs up the ladder grabs that brief..." Daniel is cut off as Carmella's music hits and she walks out to the ramp accompanied by Ellsworth with a mic in her hand as the WWE Universe boos her and Ellsworth.
"Daniel. Daniel, Daniel. You said before that this is the land of opportunity". Carmella said as the WWE Universe boos her and she makes her way down to the ring. She climbs the steel steps and then gets inside of the ring to confront Daniel head on. "Daniel, you said before that this is the land of opportunity. But it's more like the land of injustice. Last week, the biggest injustice in WWE history took place when you unjustly stripped me of my Money in the Bank contract".
The WWE Universe boos. "At the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, I won that ladder match fair and square". The WWE Universe boos again as Carmella continues to speak. "The rule book clearly states in black and white, Daniel, it states in black and white that a Money in the Bank ladder match is a no disqualification match! There's no rules. And what it does say is that the first woman to gain possession of the contract wins the match. Now let me say that one more time for all of you that don't quite understand.
