The three men of The Shield were sitting around a table together at a restaurant drinking water and making small talk with each other.
"Hey". Seth said as Roman went to take a sip of his water. "What's up?" Seth laughs as he grabs his own glass of water from off the table.
"Hey". Dean replied.
"Hey, come on now". Seth said. "You've got to be professional. We're at a dinner table. Everything is - everything is..."
"Just drinking water". Dean said.
"Yeah, no folding chairs around". Roman joked.
"Yeah, I can't fold this chair. It's not possible. It doesn't even have a back to it". Seth responded.
"You know, once we split the past three years has felt like a blur, man. We've literally been in fast forward. It's crazy". Roman said to Dean and Seth.
"Yeah, it really has" Seth said. "A long way from like when we first got on the road and we're, like, in the van every week and sharing hotels and like, trying, to skimp on meals. That's the job".
"That is a job". Roman agreed.
"That's the job. The wrestling part is the fun stuff". Seth said.
" The drives nowadays are easy". Dean said. "Like, what? Five hours is like the worst possible drive".
"Yeah, yeah". Seth said in agreement as a waiter then comes out with his and Roman's food and then sets it down in front of them. "Ooh".
"Yeah, no 12-hour, 14-hour drives". Dean finished as he took a sip of his water.
"Could be a two-day trip". Roman said with a laugh.
"You have to leave there on a Wednesday to get there on a Friday". Seth said
"Get night drives, day drives, we'd sight-see and do the whole nine". Roman said as a waiter then placed Dean's food in front of him. "Unless of course you're my wife, then you have to shop". Roman said as Seth chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Or she'll shop and take pictures as well". Roman added and Dean and Seth both nodded in agreement and laughed.
"I told you before I think she has a shopping problem". Seth joked.
"I don't doubt it. Her closet is bigger than mine". Roman replied with a chuckle.
The guys then started a conversation about food especially, Dean's "famous" breakfast sandwich which he called a "happy bowl" before they moved on to their next topic of choice.
"That first few months or maybe even that first year was very - uh - it was just a very intense time". Dean said as a waiter walked up to their table and set down their beers. "Especially the first few months".
