For many, many years, El Dorado has been protected and well provided with food, water, shelter and gold. While the story goes that it was two Gods who created El Dorado, it's really been lost in translation of what really happened. You see, it was only one who created El Dorado, a Goddess. She used her powers of elemental control to create a safe haven for her loyal followers. A secluded place surrounded by water with abundance of prosperity. When the story of the two Gods came to be, invented by the people of El Dorado, the Goddess found it as the perfect time to fit in amongst the people and enjoy a life of leisure away from all the responsibilities. Through the years and generations, she took a mortal form and lived a "mortal" life, recreating herself every generation, the downfall to starting over is that all of her abilities must be re-learned, but grow stronger through every evolution. Through the years, she learned her people's ways and how they worship their Gods, she still grants blessings upon those who show kindness and humility. For those who don't, they are met with punishment. Nothing like, death or agonizing pain, no. A string of bad luck to follow until they decide to change their ways. The Goddess has to be careful though, one wrong slip, and the secret is out.

Little did the Goddess know, during her evolutions of life, readying to start the new generation, the high priest of the previous generation had followed her into the forest of where she often resided, and witnessed her transformation at her statue which had been long forgotten and grown over with forest vegetation. If it wasn't for her abilities to move the vines and shrubs, know one would've known it was there. It is there inside the statue that she keeps a book explaining all of her Goddess abilities. The high priest ran back to the village, tried to tell everyone what he saw but no one believed him, except for one. Tzekel Kan. A tiny boy who was fascinated with the Gods and wished to spread their glory to all of the people of El Dorado, when his mentor approached him in distress and shared all that he had seen, Tzekel Kan made it his life's mission to inform the people and expose the Goddess. Eventually, the Goddess decided to evolve again, to prepare for a new year. She decided to be "born" into Chief Tannabok's family.

Years had passed and Tzekel had grown unsuccessful in finding the Goddess. It wasn't until the Chief's daughter began adventuring into the forest that his suspicions grew, he formulated plans to gather evidence against her and watch her more closely. Instead of following her around, Tzekel Kan spoke to the Chief about having his daughter be his betrothed. The Chief was outraged and refused, but Tzekel Kan decided to inform everyone that he will be marrying the Chief's daughter. Creating a whirlwind of confusion amongst the people. If he claims her engagement, she will Be constantly judged and watched. Where she will be subjected to follow his every order and stay where he can see, eventually exposing her and utilizing her powers to become all powerful and remind the people of El Dorado to fear the Gods! No, to fear him!
