I know I said I wasn't going to update and focus on Vegeanance but I already have chapters written for this book. I want to juggle these books together without having the same plots. Excuse mistakes and thank you!

Honey sat poised in her studio, hosting another episode of her wildly popular podcast 'Peace Of Lifestyle.' Though she worked tirelessly as a corporate lawyer, her innate skills in marketing and content creation catapulted her podcast to 60k viewers on the first episode.

Her guest Christina chuckled knowingly, "It seems someone has caught your eye, though you're too busy to notice."

Honey scoffed, unphased by the accusation. "My mind is focused on growing my business - no time for distractions." She stated matter-of-factly in her southern drawl.

Christina smirked, raising an eyebrow. But Honey didn't flinch.

With an audience of thousands, a thriving law career, and a new 2000 square foot studio, Honey had more than enough on her plate. She was fiercely determined to build her empire on her own terms.

Looking up, Honey smiled confidently. No need to justify her single status - she was exactly where she wanted to be.

" Okay, I give in

" Okay, I give in. I may have someone who stays on my mind, occasionally wondering." Honey switched the conversation to something less thoughtful.

After Honey's podcast ended, she gave her co-host Christina some gifts to say thanks for coming on the show. But when Christina saw the blue roses, she shot Honey a puzzled look. Trying to figure out why they were blue, Christina wondered if there was some hidden meaning she was missing.

As Christina headed over to chat with Honey's assistant Mirah, she noticed Mirah seemed distracted, eyes glued to her computer screen. "Oh, hi Christina. How are you?" Mirah asked, barely glancing up.

Before Christina could respond, Honey jumped in. "The flowe--" She stopped short when she spotted the blue roses on Mirah's desk. Honey's face scrunched up in confusion. Why would Mirah have those out?

As Christina headed back outside, Honey followed, waving as Christina got into her car. Once she drove off, Honey let out a sigh. She thanked Christina for unintentionally bringing up old memories - ones that still made Honey feel guilty. It wasn't something she liked to talk about.

Catching Honey's expression as she loaded the gifts into her car, Christina called out, "Thanks for having me on the show!" She pulled Honey into a quick side hug. Honey nodded, forcing a smile.

"And thanks for the reminder of someone from my past," Honey added softly. "I'm sure I really messed things up for them." Christina paused, wondering who this mystery person was that seemed to haunt Honey.

But Honey clearly wasn't ready to get into it, and Christina didn't push. Before driving off, she offered gently, "Remember who loves you now."

Honey watched Christina's car disappear, sighing again. She tried to ignore the swirl of emotions. There was no way to make things right after all these years. Now 28, Honey had plenty of time since high school to fix her mistakes. But some things you just couldn't repair.
