Quackity's POV
--------------------------------
So, one thing I may have forgotten to mention. I'm actually an avian, haha, you know? A human-bird hybrid, no one outside my family knows, not like it matters anyway. My wings are too small to do anything, I'm a duck after all, so they're just annoying golden puffs of feathers that come out from and are connected to my back, as well my tailbone in the form of a little puffy tail, and from behind my ears. The only issue about hiding them now, is my new boyfriend, Wilbur.

Currently, I'm on spring break and just last night I got asked out by best friend, and former crush, Wilbur. Last night he was really freaked out so my mom let him stay over to avoid his dad and he ended up falling asleep in my lap, he's so sweet. I'd changed into my pajamas last night, but needed to preen my wings so I left my shirt off, I totally forgot to put I back on last night. Now I'm in a bit of trouble.

I don't know how Wilbur will respond if he sees my wings, and I'm very nervous about it. I've been in worse situations, I'm sure I can keep them hidden, but I'm still scared to see what happens if I can't. Anyone who's seen my wings that isn't family has ended up bullying me, calling me a freak, other bad things, I don't want Wilbur to make fun of me, I like him! That'd hurt way too much.

"Hey, ducky? You ok?" Wilbur snapped me out of my thoughts. "Oh, yeah sorry cariño, just got lost in my thoughts." I smiled, giving him a peck on the cheek. Wilbur smiled back at me and gave me a kiss against my lips. I kissed him back and he moved his hands onto my hips, grabbing my waist and he slowly moved his hands up my sides and around to my back. My back! Shit! I felt something brush against my wings as Wilbur pulled away to catch his breath.

Wilbur looked at me with confusion as I felt him touch my wings again, more firmly this time. "Quackity, what are these?" Wilbur asked, gently running his hands along my wings. "Well shit, I'm sorry Wilbur, I didn't want you find these dumbass things." I apologized. "No need to be sorry, I'm just curious. They're very pretty." Wilbur complimented.

"These," I fluffed up my wings so they were fully out, ", are my.. wings. Surprise? I'm an avian, duck-hybrid, specially." I explained, Wilbur looked fascinated as he gently ran his fingers across the feathers on the underside of my wing. "Avain, duck." Wilbur mumbled captivated by the fluffy, golden feathers that make up my wings. If my tail weren't stuck behind the strap I use to keep it pinned up it'd be wagging like crazy right about now.

"Ah, h-hey Wil, I-I need you to st-stop touching my-my wings." I gulped and tried to pull my wings away. "Oh sorry, may I ask why though?" Wilbur took his hand away and tilted his head in confusion. "Well, when you touch an avains' wings it-" I thought about what I was going to say, it'd make it way too awkward to actually tell him, "-it's nothing cariño, don't worry." Wilbur straighted his head up and frowned slightly, "Are you sure?" he asked me. "It's alright, bebé don't worry about it." I reassured him

"You're not, you're not freaked out? Or, or disgusted?" I asked, surprised. "No! Not at all, this is so cool!" Wilbur's face lit up, "And they're so soft, and beautiful, they really bring out your eyes!"

I felt my tail wagging, which is a very strange feeling, especially when it's the first time I've ever actually felt it wag...

"Shit." I mumbled and turned my head and glanced down. My tail had wagged it's way put of the strap that keeps it pinned up. I threw my arms behind my back and tried to grab it to keep it still, to no avail, instead I only brought attention to it, alerting Wilbur.

Wilbur tried to look over my shoulder to see what was going on but I didn't let him, so instead he tried to walk around me and look, I still didn't let him. In the end he grabbed my shoulders and turned me around, I felt my face get red now that Wilbur's seen my stupid little wagging puff ball of a tail. I heard Wil giggle and he let me turn to face him again.
"This is embarrassing.." I grumbled and kicked the air lightly. Wilbur smiled at me and gave me a quick kiss on the my forehead and giggled again with a goofy grinning.

I lightened up a bit and giggled at Wil's silly smile and then returned it. "That wasn't as bad as I thought!" I said lightly, my tail wagging a little behind me. "I, think you're adorable." Wilbur kissed me on the nose and I giggled again.

I noticed Wilbur flinch, "What's wrong Wilba?" I asked him. "Nothing! I'm alright!" Wil answered, he looked anxious but I didn't want to be intrusive. "Well, I'm going to get changed real quick and we can go see what's for breakfast!" I smiled and booped Wilbur's nose, he giggled and nodded.

When we got downstairs I realized why Wilbur had been so anxious when we were in my room.
George arguing with mom, again.

"George lay off." I spat and flipped him the bird. "Why should I! She keeps calling me her son, I am not her son, and she is not my mother! " George glared at my mom."George she is our mother, get over yourself." I rolled my eyes. "Thank you, Alex, that means a lot to me." mom smiled.

I nodded and took Wilbur's hand, leading him into the kitchen to see what he wanted for breakfast. "Well, take anything you'd like, amor." I gestured to the fridge. Wilbur didn't say or do anything, just stated at the ground. I've never seen him so nervous when he's over. Damnit George.

"Hey, dickhead, kindly shut your mouth. You're making everyone uncomfortable." I flipped George off again and he shut up. I looked at Wilbur and cupped his cheek, he looked at me and I smiled for reassurance.

Wilbur smiled back and carefully walked over, wrapping his arms around me. "I'm ok, thank you ducky." he whispered to me. I turned and gave him a little kiss on the cheek, shutting the fridge door and grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl on the table.

We went back up to my room and I heard George immediately pick up his argument with mom.
I noticed Wilbur getting uncomfortable so I grabbed my favorite blankets and spun us over to my bed, I turned on the TV and wrapped us up in blankets. The larger one we sat on and wrapped around our backs, the other I pulled up over us, I secretly extended one of my wings and put it around Wilbur, pulling him close.

"What do you wanna watch?" I asked cheerfully, Wilbur looked at me relieved, "Horror?" I looked at Wilbur, "Are you saying that because you like horror or because you want a reason to be close to me?" I teased him. "Why can't it be both?" he smiled and leaned onto my shoulder.

I picked out a movie and we sat in a comfortable silence, other than Wilbur's little scared yips every so often, watching the movie together.
