'What the hell,' Jimin thought, quickly closing his door. His heart was still racing from earlier, not just from practice but also from Jungkook. Since Jungkook called him that nickname, he's had a weird feeling in his stomach. He doesn't know why he got it or still has it hours later.
'I guess I just need time to think..' Jimin sighed. Almost as if someone could hear his thoughts, there was a knock on the door. "Jin, I already-" As Jimin opened the door, he saw it wasn't Jin. "Jungkook? What are you doing here so late?"
"Well, I know this might sound weird, but," jungkook inhaled sharply. "I can't sleep," Jimin stood there for a few seconds, trying to comprehend what the younger said. "Can't you sleep in Tae's room?"
"Yeah, but he's already sleeping, and I don't wanna bother him," jungkook explained. "I just really liked hanging out with you today, and it made me realize that we don't do that very much," Jimins face heated up slightly, and he'd be lying if he said he felt differently.
"I feel the same way, kook," jimin ignored that he had just said that name out loud. "You can sleep here whenever you'd like," Jungkook smiled as he followed jimin into his room and closed the door behind him—the night already passed as it was 4 am. They had practiced all night, and they were tired.
"Uhm," jimin gulped as he realized something. "I can sleep on the floor," Jungkook blushed at the thoughts entering his head. "Your bed is pretty big, though. It wouldn't be too bad to sleep together?"
"Really? You think so?" Jimin asked. "Yeah," jungkook scratched his head. "It's not fair that I came in here asking to sleep with you, but have you slept on the floor," Jimin smiled. "That's true.."
"It is true, jiminie. You don't belong on the floor," Jimin chuckled. Jungkook has always had some weird ways of giving compliments. "I guess it wouldn't be too bad," Jimin said. His head was going crazy at the thought of being in the same bed as him, and he didn't know why.
It's normal. Jimin has slept in the same bed with the other members but never considered it. So, why is it so different from Jungkook?
"Yay!" Jungkook shouted out happily. He jumped on the bed like it would disappear if he hadn't. "What side do you usually sleep on?"
"I sleep on the right," Jimin answered as he walked towards the bed. 'Oh fuck..' Jimin remembered something: he always sleeps with just his boxers on. "Hey, kook?"
"Yeah?" Jungkook looked up at the older boy, who had a weird look on his face. "Is something wrong?" Jimin inhaled sharply. "I only sleep with boxers on. " He hardly choked out the words, scared of how this situation would play out. "Oh." Jungkook looked away for a second and then back at Jimin. "I do, too!"
"What!?" Jimin was shocked by the words that had just come from Jungkook's mouth. "Really!?"
"Yeah, is that surprising or something?"
"Yes!" Jimin had to admit he had not expected Jungkook to be that type. But curiously, Jimin didn't necessarily mind. He'd never seen Jungkook's body besides the few times his shirt had lifted during practice. Even this tiny unknown detail made Jimin realize they knew little about each other. Thinking back, the majority of his memories with Jungkook are work-related.
"Oh, well, it's not very surprising to me that you sleep like that," Jungkook admitted, looking away. "Oh?" Jimin smirked unconsciously. "And why is that?"
"Uhm, well.." Jungkook started to panic. "I don't... I don't know. You seem like that type; I can't explain it," Jimin smiled. "Well, I guess it's time to get ready for bed," Jungkook blushed. He put the blanket over himself and removed his clothes until he was just in his boxers. He threw his clothes onto the floor beside the bed. He lay there, too shy to take the blanket off.
Jimin noticed this and immediately chuckled. "It's okay, you don't have to show me," he said playfully, removing his clothes and getting into bed beside him. Jungkook blushed even harder, hiding his face in the blanket.
But it was no use. Jimin had already seen it, and he loved it. He didn't know why, but he got so excited whenever Jungkook got shy because of him. It was a fantastic feeling; if it were up to Jimin, he'd make Jungkook shy daily.
"You don't have to hide, kook," Jimin lightly pulled on the blanket that covered the younger, flustered face. "This was your idea, anyway," Jungkook inhaled until his lungs couldn't take in any more oxygen and exhaled until there was nothing.
"That's true," Jungkook said as he took his face from the blanket. "You just make me so shy, and I don't know how to act around you," Jimins heart skipped a beat, maybe even two beats. "It's the same with me; you make me feel a certain way, and I don't know why, but I can't stop it,"
"Really?" Jungkook asked softly. "Yeah," it felt nice for Jimin to admit that. "I think.. it might be a certain feeling," Jungkook gulped. "What certain feeling?"
"Uh, I don't want to say," Jimin started to feel shy, losing all the confidence he had just a couple of seconds ago. "Jiminie, you have to tell me now! You can't just say that and not say what you meant.." Jungkook had a point. He had to tell him, even if he was scared. It shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it is. He hates that he cares so much and wishes he didn't.
"So," Jungkook started, curious as ever. "What's the feeling?"
"Attraction,"
"Attraction?"
"Yeah," Jimin made his feelings clear. "I'm attracted to you,"
