Jimin didn't take long to realize his feelings, but he didn't think he'd suddenly admit them. Jungkooks face didn't move an inch. "Uhm," Jungkook gulped, unsure of how to respond. "What type of attraction?"
Jimin looked down at Jungkook, focusing on his features. His mind was going wild. He looked the younger in the eyes, licking his lips ever so lightly. He could hear Jungkook's breaths getting heavier the more they made eye contact. Jimin took his pointer finger and lifted his head, resulting in only a few inches in between their faces. He smirked. "This kind of attraction,"
Jungkook could feel Jimins plump lips collide against his, the feeling of their skin brushing together making his body shiver-
"JIMIN! GET YOUR ASS UP!" Jimins head shot up quicker than ever. He was in a state of shock and confusion. "Are you okay?" Jin asked Jimin, noticing his startled demeanor. "Well, I guess you'll be fine. Now get up and get ready for practice," Jin cared and stopped caring in seconds, walking out of his room and not shutting the door on purpose.
"Was that a dream?" Jimin whispered to himself. He looked around, expecting to see a certain someone, but there was nothing. "I can't believe it,"
"You can't believe what?"
Jimin jumped at the sudden voice. "H-hey, Jungkook. Did you just get there?" he asked as he saw Jungkook standing at his open door. Jungkook hummed. "Yeah, why?" Jimin sighed. "Nothing," he said, deciding to let it go. It was obviously a dream, and nothing really happened between them, so there was no use in stressing about it.
"They said our schedule will be cut short today, so I'm here. They wanted me to tell you," Jungkook watched Jimin pick his outfit for practice. "Oh? Why?"
"I'm not sure; it might be related to management. We're going to rest first and then go to practice,"
"At least we get to have somewhat of a break,"
"Yeah.." Jungkook looked around before continuing. "Would you like to hang out today before practice? Like, a real hangout, not just you helping me dance," Jimin's heart skipped a beat. It made him think of his very realistic dream. Did he have feelings for the younger boy? What if he doesn't feel the same, and things become awkward if he's honest? These are all things that he didn't want.
But you can't help who you like, right? He will have to find courage and deal with things as they happen, maybe even slightly hinting around. What if he got Jungkook to confess first? Yeah, that was his new plan.
"I'd love that, Kook." Jimin smiled, then turned it into a slight smirk as he looked at Jungkook. Jimin's shirt suddenly came off without warning, causing Jungkook's brain to go blank. He couldn't do anything; he just stared at his body without noticing what he was doing.
"If you take a picture, it'll last forever," Jimin said as he noticed Jungkook staring. He put a clean shirt on and went into his bathroom. Jungkook stood there, shaking his head slightly. He lightly slapped his face to get the image out of his head. Jimin came out with different sweatpants on and a freshly washed face.
"Did you already freshen up?" Jimin asked him as he got his stuff together.
"Yeah, I did,"
"Well, what are we going to do?" Usually, when the members plan to hang out, they stay in for a while. They either eat, play games, or watch something.
"Um, I didn't think that far ahead.." Jungkook confessed. He didn't think Jimin would agree to this. He thought Jimin would want to rest or something, but he seemed so willing, and it was kind of unlike him. "That's okay... Do you want to watch a movie or something?" Jimin offered. He had already planned to 'fall asleep' on Jungkooks shoulder, so he hoped he'd say yes.
"Yes! Let's do that!" Jungkook was excited. He was glad Jimin wanted to do something that would bring them closer together. Jimin smiled. "Let's go then," The two boys entered the living room and set everything up. The rest of the members were resting in their rooms or elsewhere, which worked perfectly for them. Jungkook got the blankets and food while Jimin picked out the movie.
It was true that they had never really hung out like this, but they weren't strangers. Jimin still knew what movies and shows Jungkook enjoyed. He picked one he thought Jungkook would like, one that wasn't the most boring thing ever but would fit the mood he was trying to set. A mood that would force them to focus more on each other than the movie.
Jungkook returned to Jimin, who was already sitting on the couch, ready. Jimin looked up to him. "That's a lot of pillows.." Jimin chuckled as he glanced at all the pillows Jungkook had. "I wanted to make it as comfy as possible," Jungkook pouted. "Anyway," He put all the pillows and blankets on the couch, moving them around to make it comfy, as he said. "Are you ready, Jiminie?" Jungkook smiled at Jimin, sitting down on the floor.
"That name you call me makes my heart race," Jimin blurted out. Jungkooks eyes widened. He couldn't comprehend what Jimin said, so he sat there in shock. It took Jimin less than a millisecond to realize what he had just blurted out. He decided to go with it; maybe this would help him. "I meant what I said. I like the nickname; it's so cute," Jimin poked Jungkook's nose as he sat on the floor, still in shock.
"O-oh, y-you, uh, really think s-so?" Jungkook tried his best to keep his composure, but he felt like he wanted to pass away. Does Jimin think the nickname is cute?!
"Yeah, so now we need to give you a nickname," Jimin sat there and pretended to think as he put a finger on his chin and looked up to the ceiling. Jimin didn't need to think at all. He already had a nickname in mind; he had never said it aloud.
"What about.. hm.." Jimin continued to fake think as Jungkook sat there in awe. "Kookie?" Jimin said as if he wasn't sure about it. Jungkook's heart burst at this moment. It was so cute how Jimin said it, and he couldn't believe that Jimin had just given him a nickname!
"Yes!" Jungkook blurted out finally. "I-I like that name, I guess," he tried to play it off, but Jimin knew better.
"Okay, Kookie," he smiled as he said it. Let's watch the movie, shall we?" Jungkook instantly got up and sat next to Jimin, covering himself in blankets to try to hide his blushed cheeks. Jimin noticed this and took the blankets off his face. "I like your face when you blush the most," he whispered, still looking at the TV. Jungkooks soul just left his body. He didn't say anything back; he just moved his body closer to Jimins.
It was a day he'd never forget.
