I woke up from a dream
I hate that I only see you in my sleep
I want to sob over your memory

My ceiling is so blank
My canvas has no color
Sometimes
I want to set all of my projects on fire

I look back at November
And wish I couldn't remember
But the pain of losing you
Would be too hard to bare
My vaguest wishes
Are to see you in a picture
I just want to text you
And know that you're fine

I regret it every time
That night reflects a light
And I'm blinded by what I see

I know I seem hysterical
And I know I'm burnt about hypotheticals
But I want to throw my phone through the wall

I look back at November
And wish I couldn't remember
But the pain of losing you
Would be too hard to bare
My vaguest wishes
Are to see you in a picture
I just want to text you
And know that you're fine

The snow fell on our little town
And I remember your frostbitten smile
I know that we are different than before
But I cherish that time you gave me a deck
(I still have it)

I look back at November
And wish I couldn't remember
All of the mistakes I made
My vaguest wishes
Are to see you in a picture
And hopefully
Wish me a happy birthday

I hope I get to see you
When November begins
I hope I get to see you
Before summer ends
