Chapter 14

Kenzie's POV
When I wake up I smell bacon and dad isn't in bed that means he must be cooking. I go downstairs and I'm greeted by Cameron "hey how did you sleep?"
"Fine"
"R u hungry"
"YESS"
When I go in the kitchen daddy is cooking and it is smelling really super good. Oh and by the I'm feeling better and I have a softball game at 5 and it's only 8:30am. "Hey baby r u feeling better" yes I feel amazing "
"Hayes and Nash are coming over" dad says "who's Hayes?" I asked "Nash's brother" Cam says "ok"

So I'm getting ready for my softball game and then I hear a knock at my door "who is it" "Hayes" "hold on" I go and open my door and wow he is gorgeous I guess I was thinking out loud because he heard me say he was gorgeous "um you think I'm gorgeous?!" He asked "um.. * scratches back of neck* yeah" I say blushing wow kenzie you just blew it
"Um I think you gorgeous" Hayes said
"REALLY!!"
And then she leans in and we kiss I felt butterfly's in my stomach and sparks 💖
Hayes POV
The I lean in and kiss her and she kisses back it was magical then we stop kissing and we go into her room and sit down on her bed and I ask her "why do you have on a softball uniform?"
"Oh because I have a softball game in 15min. OMG WE NEED TO GO IM GOING TO ME LATE!!!!!" Then she runs downstairs.
Mackenzie POV
I run downstairs and say hey to Nash and then yell "WE NEED TO GO IM GOING TO BE LATE IT TAKES US 10 min TO GET THERE!!!!!!!" Then dad looks at me and then runs to the car and everybody else does the same
Hayes POV
Me and Nash go and watch her play and she's really good she one of the best people. When her game over she made a home run and then we went to celebrate and I hold out my hand and she takes it plus she still has on her batting gloves.
Mackenzie POV
When I get out of the dugout I go to Shawn Nash and Hayes and then Hayes held out his hand and I took it but I think dad saw because he gave Hayes the death stare😂
Then pulled Hayes aside and me and Nash stand there worried.
Hayes POV
I look over at Shawn and then he pulls me aside and says "look I don't care if you date her but you WILL NOT break her heart and if you do I will break you that is my daughter and she is my world and I will not have her hurt herself because of you. you hear me!" And I just nod then we walk back over there and we all away from them and I ask her out and then she jumps into my arms and then we kissed and it was so magical again (I wish I had this😩) when we walk back to them and we were holding hands.
Mackenzie POV
Hayes was coming to me and then pulls me away from dad and Nash he asks me "Mackenzie Adigal Mendas will you do me the pleasure and go out with me?" I say "yes of course" and then jump into his arms and we kiss and I herd a camera and little kids yell "EWW GROSS" then we walked back over to dad and Nash and we're holding hands then Nash asked "r y'all dating because we saw that kiss?" Hayes scratches his neck and says "oh y'all did" then I say "yea we are" and then dad looks at me and gives me a puppy look because he doesn't want me to grow up and by the way tomarrow I turn 15!!! Hayes just turned 15. We go to the car and we go to struts and i sit in between dad and Hayes and Nash sat across from us.

Hayes POV
When we get to their house me and Kenzie go to her room and I ask her "whens your birthday?"
"Um tomarrow" she says
"What do you want?"
"A penny bored or a new phone case."
"What kind of phone do you have?"
"6+"
"Ok I wish I had one"i said laughing
"What kind do you have" she asks
"5s"
" oh well my dad bought an extra 6+"
"REALLY! Do you think he'll let me have it?"
"Maybe lets go ask"
When me and Kenzie go downstairs Nash is gone and Shawn is watching tv and Kenzie ask "daddy?"
"What do you want"
"Um can Hayes have that extra 6+?"
"Idc"
"Yay thanks! Where is it"
" it's on your desk remember it yours if yours breaks"
"Oh yeah see you later"
When we go back upstairs she gives it to me and them one of her cases we sit in her bed and then I look at her and she looks at me and then we kiss for like 3min and then we both fall asleep cuddling

__Next Morning__
Shawn's POV
I go up to Kenzie's room to tell her breakfast is ready and when I get up there Nash and Cam are smiling and taking pictures I ask them what's going on and then they smile and point to Hayes and Kenzie cuddling.
Kenzie's POV
When I wake up Hayes has his arm around me I try to tell him to move but he growls at me and says no. Then I hear people taking pictures I look up and see Nash Cam and dad at the door I ask "what are you guys doing"
"Taking pictures of you and Hayes cuddling" they said at the same time then I try to get up but he pulls me closer then I just sighed and gave up then I say "Hayes I need to take a shower and get ready so we can celebrate"
"Celebrate what and happy birthday baby"
"That's what we're celebrating duh"
Then before I know it he kisses me for like 3min and then I go to take a shower. I get in and then I hear Hayes call my name "MACKENZIE" hayes said " what you know I'm in the shower" then he knocks on the door "Hayes I'm in the SHOWER" "OK but you forgot you clothes in here" "I'll get them when I get out" when I get out I look out and Hayes is on my bed then i ask if he can give me my clothes and he did so after i get done I'm wearing denim shorts a blue magcon shirt and my blue vans then i go downstairs and dad Cameron Nash and Hayes are down there and start singing "happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear Mackenzie happy birthday to you" awe thanks guys" I say and they made me bacon waffles my favorite then me and Hayes go for a walk and he gives me my present and he got me a penny bored then I hug and kiss him and we ride to the park

When we get home ever light was off then I go to the back yard add they all yell "SUPRISE" and everybody was there magcon and my best friends we all swam and then 3 hours later me ate cake and did presents I got some new phone cases another penny bored money clothes and shoes oh and also a MacBook. when everyone left me and Hayes went up to my room watched Netflix and fell asleep cuddling with Hayes. Then he said I love you Mackenzie I love you too hayes and with that I fell asleep.😴
