Masks anonymized us all. Within the faceless, identically dressed huddle I was greeted by a warm blue glow which led me up a stairwell. Ushered to an upright table, I settled myself in. Seated in front of me, in a moment of mask removal, your profile was unmistakable. My heart could have exploded with wonder.

You were there with a woman just like I played out in my fears, except I was fully at ease. I knew exactly that your companion would excuse herself and the opportunity would be mine. The scene was set. I lowered my mask, "Hello, I thought it was you." Your eyes widened, "Oh, hello!"
