After finding his Instagram account, May and I went on a rampage trying to find everything we could on him. It eventually led up to the end of the dinner, which was when we decided to look around the newly built aquarium while the parents chat away.

"April and I are going to explore for a bit," May pushes her seat back and quietly says goodbye to everyone while I follow along.

As we're walking through the underwater tunnel that leads to the jellyfish exhibit, my favorite one in any aquarium, May pipes up, "Enzo's been such a loser recently, always working all the time." Enzo used to bail May out of trouble, whenever she needed a ride home after a night full of partying, he was always there to pick her up and help her get inside without their parents knowing.

"I bet him and Theo are constantly texting about work. Did you see them today?" I put my hand up to the glass, saying hi to the jellyfish. "They probably haven't even noticed that we're gone yet."

May giggles, pressing her hand against the tank to mimic me. "It's so lucky how we both ended up in this together. Could you imagine Enzo being the younger one?"

"God, we would have nothing in common." I look over at her and smile.

May smirks and I know who she's going to talk about next, "So, when am I going to be able to meet this boyfriend of yours?"

I roll my eyes and sigh, taking my hand off of the glass exhibit, "Probably after the family dinner."

"Boring!" She walks over and sits down on one of the dark blue padded benches in the middle of the room. "Do you think he's a partier?"

Seeing him on his Instagram, he definitely looks like he has never been to a party in his life. But to keep May's hopes up, I lie, "Oh, yeah. He probably goes out drinking every night."

"Your family will have to throw a party once you guys are together, right? We'll see how drunk he gets then." Then she scrunches her nose and looks up off into the distance, her thinking face. I bet she's planning a whole scenario in her head about the party right now.

"Sorry to burst your bubble," I join her on the bench and lay my head on her shoulder, "my family is not the party one, remember? Maybe if we got engaged they would finally choose to throw a party."

May groans, "Then get engaged already! God, what's taking you and him so long?" She flicks my head lightly as I laugh.

"What even made him say yes to Theo? Because from what I've seen at bars, professional athletes don't need to have a fake girlfriend when they can have a real one." I think about the one time May and I met a group of F1 racers clubbing in Monaco. May had been real drunk and all over them, while I was a little tipsy and decided to record her and take videos so we could laugh at them later when she was hungover. Unfortunately, May had come out of the ordeal with 0 numbers. It definitely wasn't because of her looks though, she could pull anyone with her expensive outfits and looks any day, it probably was because she was underage at the time, and any pro athlete knows not to mess with minors.

"You're just so gorgeous, duh," May threw an arm around me and gave me a squeeze, "Theo def showed a picture of you once and he just fell in love!" That was a better scenario than what I was thinking of, Theo just offering him a cut of the company so that his little sister would stay out of trouble.

Just then, the parents-followed by Enzo and Theo-came through the underwater tunnel, the wives examining and in awe over the details.

"Girls, it's time to wrap it up," Mr. Simmes says, checking the time on his Rolex.

May hops up quickly, taking my hand and yanking me up with her, "'Kay! April and I are going to hangout soon though, we didn't have enough time to talk."

"Aw, you girls have such a special bond." Mom puts a hand to her heart and looks at Mrs. Simmes, who has a sweet look in her eyes paired with a small smile.

"I'll see you later, May." We give each other a quick hug and she bounces off to her mom, while I walk over to my family.

Mom looks around and excited claps her hands together, "I see why you love jellyfish, Amor. This exhibit is lovely."

"I know, right! They're just so glo-" I start, before getting cut off by Theo.

"Can we go? I have to get home to look at some paperwork before bed."

I glare at him; who interrupts someone when they're talking about what they love? I don't get how he can go from nice to mean so fast. When Theo shoots me a glare back, I roll my eyes, "Fine. Let's go." Agreeing with Theo is the only way I can keep the offer of meeting Pedri tomorrow, and I'm not wasting my chance.

We pile into the car, and I cross my arms across my chest in the backseat, looking out my window and refusing to face Theo.

"Are you seriously going to be a little baby right now?" Theo taps my shoulder. I don't respond or even react. "Stop ignoring me," he grabs my shoulder and shakes me so my crossed arms fall down.

I turn over at him to glare, before pulling my arms back across my chest and looking outside the window again.

"Sorry you get to have fun every night while I have to stay at home and work, yikes." Theo scoffs, releasing the hand he had on my shoulder. I hear him ruffle around and turn away so he is also staring out his window.

It was a quiet ride home from then on.
