Chapter 3: Do they hear our calls?

The drive back home was quiet except for the typical questions of "how was work" or "how was school".

Other than that not much else happened.

Izuku stared out through the car window looking at the buildings passing by. As they stopped in front of a red stoplight, they saw cop cars go by.

"Seems like there's another problem today regarding villians." Said Izuku's mom. "Nothing to fear though since the heroes will take care of it."

Izuku simply stayed quiet as he saw that from a distance smoke could be seen rising into the sky.

"Yep it's definitely another villain." Said Izuku.

Eventually the pair finally made it to their house. Inko pulled into the driveway and they all proceeded to walk to the house entrance.

Let's give a little rundown of the Midoriya household.

(To start it off let's talk about Inko, Izuku's mother. Inko works as a nurse to be able to provide her son with the necessary needs in his life. She often works overtime, so she at times isn't in the house often. Regardless she always tries her best to be there for her son. (Also as compared to the manga and anime where she turned short and chubby, in my story she kept her slim and tall body. This is because of her constantly trying her best to provide for Izuku, she doesn't on times have time to focus on herself.)

Izuku himself has changed drastically over the years himself, especially when he became interested in gadgets and building things. His parents always supported him over the years, as they saw he was incredibly intelligent. Not to mention, because he didn't really have any friends, he managed to focus on honing his abilities with building gadgets, which has helped him win competitions regarding building gadgets and win rewards like money.

Emotionally though, although kind and outgoing, Izuku's shy, and doesn't really like talking to people.

Izuku has also written many quirk analysis books, so it's not just one book. Izuku uses these to help him get ideas of what to build in his free time. He also likes writing music and playing the guitar, though he hasn't done it in like 5 years.

As for the house itself there are three rooms in total, one for Inko, a guest room, and one for Izuku. There is also an attic. Around the house there are many portraits and pictures of the Midoriya family, but at some point the pictures become only of it being Inko and Izuku.

Izuku's room is rather large and is adorned with large amounts of superhero items like posters and figurines. Most of that stuff is All might themed, who was the top number 1 hero of Japan. He has a shelf dedicated to some awards he has gained for competitive things he's done for the school. The house has a garage, and that is where Izuku will build his gadgets and store many of his tools. Occasionally he'll try building something in his room, but his mom will usually scold him about it as she doesn't want him possibly burning or exploding things around the house.)

Now let's continue with the story!

Izuku as soon as he entered the house quickly went to sit down on the sofa facing the TV and let out one big sigh. Inko simply chuckled at his action and proceeded to sit next down to him. She also sighed.

As they sat there for a moment of silence, Izuku noticed his mom looked awfully tired.

Izuku obviously knew she would be incredibly tired as she always worked overtime, but today was different. She also looked really sad.

"Mom are you okay? You look sad. Not to mention you also look incredibly tired." Said Izuku with a worried tone.

"Oh it's nothing sweetie, it's only natural I look this tired. And regarding why I look sad, don't worry about it. I'll be fine." Said Inko with a smile. A fake smile.
