Ditching the Orphanage

Silver growled as he packed his small cyan blue backpack. He had planned this perfectly. It was the day before 'trip' day when all the supposedly 'good' kids got to go with caregiver Argon on a trip to go camping in the nearby forest. Argon always told Silver that he was either to young or 'Maybe another time' and Silver was sick of it. Hence his running away.

Silver smirked as he finished the last of his packing and put on the backpack before hopping to the ground and landing lightly on his feet. It was time to get out of here and move on to greener hills.

Silver silently walked past the sleeping kids in their beds to the door of the bedroom he resided in with the rest of the younger children and he used his newly acquired power of telekinesis to open the door. He had found out he had it a week ago while trying to get something from a high shelf and since nobody had seen him he had kept his power to himself just for situations like this. The door opened without a creak and Silver beamed before walking from the Bedroom to the Security room.

He wasn't supposed to know about this room but after getting telekinesis you bet his booty that he checked the whole place out in the middle of the night to find 'secrets'.

Silver stalked up to the door and placed his ear on the wood. He could hear the soft sound of Jeremoa the Guinea Pig snoring and he smirked before opening the door with telekinesis once more, keeping an eye on the caregiver turned guard he quietly turned off the security system and then left the room and rushed to the Main Office.

The Main Office was where the door to the outside was and it also was the area where kids got adopted. Silver had never been adopted.

Silver frowned for a moment before slowing to a walk as he approached the office doors to the outside and opened them.

Silver couldn't help but look back for a moment at the orphanage as a whole before snorting and mumbling a "Good riddance" under his breath and leaving.

Silver might not know exactly where he's going but anywhere had to be better than staying in Sunset's Home For Orphans. Huffing Silver began the long trek to find a new home.
