Derek and Isaac were in the warehouse talking about how tonight was the full moon.

"What is that?" Isaac asked when he saw the tattoo on Derek's back.

"It's a triskele. Spirals mean different things - Past, present, future. Mother, father, child" he answered "You know what it means to me?"

"Alpha, beta, omega?" the young beta guessed.

"That's right. It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become alphas, but alphas can also fall to betas or even omegas" Derek explained.

"Like Scott?" Isaac asked but the Alpha shook his head.

"Scott's with us" he remind him.

"Really? Then where is he now?" he asked sarcastically.

"He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not going to have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power. You get the ability to heal, but tonight you're going to want to kill anything you can find" Derek told him "Let's hope it gets easier."

"Why I'm still alive?" Isaac suddenly asked him, that catch Derek off guard, the Alpha didn't know what to answer because not even he knew why Lorelli hadn't kill him.

"I don't know" he answered "But it's good that you're still alive."

"Maybe it was because I didn't participate in her "death" he guessed.

"Maybe" Derek muttered.

"Did you find something about how she was still alive?" Isaac asked curious.

"Yes" he simple respond.

"And?" he insisted.

"You just need to know one thing" he told him "We can't beat her" Isaac frowned at his Alpha statement, he sounded defeated more than usual, Erica and Boyd were dead, his friends, his new family, was take it away from him, again. The first time Isaac saw Lorelli was the first day of school in autumn, he thought she was beautiful, a little crush for him. Then Derek gave him the bite and everything change, he felt more powerful and in the icepick when he fought Scott he still felt good, not weak, but then Scott threated Derek with the name of a girl "Lorelli", he noticed how the body of his Alpha tensed, he felt his fear, of both. Before they knew she came and everything went to hell, she had murdered Andrea without remorse, the next meetings with her weren't pleasant at all, and now they had seen her, he had seen her, she was a true monster for him. Another thing he noticed was every time she mentioned a man named Peter, Derek's body tensed, and he was curious. But then again curiosity killed the cat, it could applied on him too.
