Stefan was leading Connor through the tunnel system. He had Connor's arm twisted by his back and pushed him forward. Damon was in the tunnels too.

"Good work, brother" Damon said.

"It's over, Damon. I have him" Stefan said serious.

"Not after what I just went through. I had to punch through a boiler room basement into a septic tank to get into this stupid tunnel. But it'll be worth it" he told him.

"I'm taking him with me" he protested.

"That's the thing, you're not. I don't know what you're up to or what Klaus has over you, but even if I have to go through you, I'm going to kill him" Damon hissed and moved closer towards Stefan and Connor.

"You better back off, Damon" Stefan warned him.

"Why? Because Klaus wants him alive? What about his twin sister, we go another one now" Damon shouted him.

"This has nothing to do with Klaus or Lorelli. You're just going to have to trust me on that" but Damon shock his head.

"I don't want to. I don't have to. Not going to. Now, give him to me, brother" he ordered.

"Run as fast as you can" Stefan told Connor and pushed him away. Stefan pinned Damon to a wall. "You're not going to kill him"

Damon grabbed Stefan and super speeds around him. He throws him against the wall and grabs him by the shoulders, pinning him.

"Why are you protecting him?! Tell me" Damon ordered him.

He moved his hand towards Stefan's heart. Stefan grabbed Damon's wrist and tries to fight back. Damon overcomes Stefan and sticks his hand into his chest. Stefan groaned.

"Tell me" he hissed.

"Klaus will kill anyone who knows" Damon started to pull at Stefan's heart making him scream in pain.

"Then it has to be good because like I said we got the twin here who we never heard before and now she's here because of the hunter. Spill it" Damon continued to tear at Stefan's heart. "Spill it!"

"Connor's tattoo is the key to a cure" Stefan quickly said.

"A cure for what?" Damon asked impatient.

"For her. For Elena" Stefan keep groaning in pain.

"Klaus told you there's a cure for vampirism?" Damon asked him stunned.

"Yeah, and if Connor dies then we'll lose it forever." Damon looked shocked "I know it's crazy, Damon. But it's hope, do you understand me? It's her only hope."

Stefan grunted. Damon still has his hand in his chest, but removed after a couple of seconds. Stefan breathes heavily as Damon still tries to take in the fact that there could be a cure.
