It was dinner time and Hermione sat at Gryffindor table talking with Ron and Harry. While she was talking George and Fred put something in the drink next to Harry's food.
Hermione noticed her drink empty and so she grabbed Harry's drink. "Harry, mind if I-?" Harry smiled. "Course not Mione!" She smiled before George and Fred could say anything she took acouple drinks of the liquid.
"Wait NO!" They said in unison.
Hermione scared, quickly stops drinking and looks at them. "What?"
Fred and George had yelled so loud that the entire Great Hall had silenced and was now looking at the Lions table. The teachers all eyed them suspiciously. The twins immediately got up and literally climbed the table to get to her side. "What are you guys doing?" She sounded worried. "We need to go to the Hospital ward NOW!" With how big of a scene they caused, three adults headed their way. Snape, Minerva, and Albus.
"What is all this ruckus for?" Snape barked at the three. Hermione went to go answer but her head started spinning while her feet fell from underneath her and she fell forwards into Minerva's arms. The older witch was concerned for her cub. "We're sorry professor is our fault." The twins explained.
Snape looked at them. "What did you do?" The twins looked down. Then they took turns talking.
F- "We were gonna prank harry."
G- "So we put a one of our love potions in his drink."
F- "To fall in love with someone nasty."
G- "But Hermione drank it instead."
F- "so now she's the one who's about to fall in love."
Minerva was afraid to ask. "Who is she's about to be obsessed with?"
The twins looked at eachother.
"Professor Snape."
Severus backed up but before the twins could react, he lunged forward grabbing both their collars and dragged them to his office. "We need to talk!" He dragged them all the way down the corridor and practically threw them into his office. "What have you done?!" They didn't answer just looked down.
"Do you have any idea the seriousness of your actions!" The boys looked at him. "Professor, we're so sorry! We didn't mean for Hermione to be the one to drink it." Snape was still beyond pissed. "What did you give her."
Fred spoke up. "It is our own brew of a love potion. It makes the drinker have an immense desire for whosever DNA gets put in the drink. And uh...we found a strand of you hair and put it in it." Snape was about to boil over but he had one more question. "How do you cure her?"
George spoke this time. "You can't, you have to wait it out. It will last for 2 months. Once she wakes in an hour, she'll be deeply infatuated with you. But the catch is she can't be far away for you in long periods of time or else she'll get horribly sick."
Snape had enough. "GET OUT! And I want you in Dumbledores office now!"
The twins quickly rushed out. Ofcourse not going to the headmasters office. "We need to lay low." They laughed but then quickly stopped knowing they sent Hermione to a love obsession with the nastiest person alive.
In the hospital wing, Hermione slept as she was surrounded by teachers and the Medwitch. "Oh Albus, what are we gonna do?"
Albus looking over at his deputy with an annoying twinkle in his eye. "We make bets Ofcourse." Minerva was stunned. "Excuse me?" He chuckled but continued "I bet Severus will fall in love with her within the first month."
Minerva also getting the letter Severus sent out. She smirked. "Deal old man, I think the first week!" They shook on it and stopped smiling when they heard the doors open. Turning, they saw the very man they just bet on.
"Did you both get my letter explaining what those dunderheads told me." They both nodded their heads keeping their bet secret for obvious reasons.
"Yes Severus. We did."
"Well what are we to do?" Snape asked angrily. "We must keep her in your chambers, Ofcourse in a separate room and we have to let this play out."
Snape retched backwards. "Like hell she is! You except me to be close to her?" Albus looked over his half moon spectacles. "Yes, as your letter stated we can't have her getting ill, now can we?"
"She is going no where NEAR my chambers. And that's final!" Severus' voice was firm.
As he was staring the two older people down, the girl beside them started to stir.
