Animagus

Dumbledore paced his office as he slowed down he looked to the left on the couch and began pacing faster.
*knock knock*

"Yes please come in!"

Fierce black eyes moved from the old man to the young women who just walked into the office.

"You called me headmaster?" She walked in completely missing the giant animal on the couch. "Yes Ms.Granger, as headgirl, I need a favor. I can't trust anyone else for this job and my other professors can't take on more responsibilities." He walked closer to her and stopped about five feet from her. "I need you to watch a very important animal for me."

Her eyebrows creased and she was about to ask what kind but when she heard a loud long yawn she turned and saw a giant black wolf. "Headmaster...that's a wolf! Is that safe to have here?" She took a step back quickly but tripped on a chair leg and fell on her butt. Still staring at the wolf.

The large animal slowly stepped off couch and stalked towards her. It walked right up to her and stared into her eyes. "Tobias that's enough!" The wolf immediately turned towards the old man. "Stop trying to scare the girl so that she won't look after you."

"Please Ms.Granger, you're the only one who can watch him and I'll excuse all your classes as I know your ahead. I can promise you he won't hurt you." She looked back at the large wolf standing at a solid 4 feet high. She got up slowly and turned towards her professor. "Okay Professor, I'll watch him." She said with a small smile. "Thank you!"

She looked at the wolf and started to leave. The beast started to slowly follow behind.

She made it to her head girl dorm and let the large dog in. "Um...are you hungry?" She went to her cabinet's looking for anything. She sighed loudly. "Dobby!" The little elf popped up and smiled wildly at Hermione. "Yes friend of Harry Potter?! Dobby is here to serve!"

"Can you please get me some food that I can feed a large wolf please." He looked confused for a second but then looked at the couch and saw a very big animal. "O-of course.." he immediately disappeared.

She sighed again then walked to her bedroom, not bothering to close the door. She decided a shower would help calm her nerves. She went to the bathroom again not caring to close the door behind her. She stepped out of her clothes and into the steaming water.

She heard the popping of magic as the elf came and almost instantly left again. She let the hot water run down her back. After 20 minutes she finished and shut off the water.

Wrapping a towel around herself she walked out of the bathroom and into her room. She looked up and saw the large wolf laying on her bed. She shrieked and dropped her towel. "You scared me." She quickly scooped up her towel off the floor and rewrapped it around her body lazily. The wolf only stared at her for a few minutes before jumping off the bed and out the room. She got changed and went into her living room area.

Grabbing the plate of meat off the counter and putting it down on the floor. "Dumbledore called you Tobias right? Well here you go Tobias." The wolf stalked up to the plates and began eating the large raw meat. "That's a weird name for such a predatorial animal. It's nice though." The wolf looked at her.

Later that night she got ready for bed and laid down. After an hour or two of her falling asleep she started to twist and turn. She began getting a cold sweat and groaning.

The large wolf raised his head and watched the young girl having a nightmare.

He slowly stood and jumped up to bed. The animal saw her body thrash around and a sweat on her forehead.

"No...he didn't do anything...stop." She whispered quietly. "S-Snape..."

The wolf heard this and huffed aloud. Crawling up to the girl and pushing himself against her. After another minute of her nightmare she slowly stopped moving and he felt an arm wrap around his hairy body. She opened her eyes for a second.

"Thank you..." she lowly spoke and she immediately fell back asleep, peacefully this time.
