The days flew by and before Natasha knew her Sarah was zipping up her wedding dress.
"You look absolutely stunning, Natasha." Sarah says
"Thank you." Natasha says
Sarah helped Natasha to put some last flower pins in her hair and styling it to perfection.
"Steve will love it." Sarah says
"You think?" Natasha asks
"Of course. The way he looked at you during the engagement party tells something." Sarah says
"And what's that?" Natasha asks
"That he thinks you're a very beautiful woman." Sarah says
"Oh, we'll that's good. Right? I mean we have to stand each other for this to work." Natasha says
"Yeah, you do." Sarah says, "Are you ready?"
"I don't really know. I mean it's not real." Natasha says
"You'll be fine." Sarah says and handed Natasha her bouquet.
"Thanks." Natasha says
"I'll see you out there." Sarah says
Sarah left Natasha's bedroom and closed the door behind her. Natasha did some breathing exercises to calm down before stepping outside.
With a shakey hand she opened the door and walked down the stairs. She walked through the backdoor and walked to the lake. The moment she stepped on the white flower petals all eyes were on her.
Steve heard the music start and looked up. At the end of the aisle stood his future wife-to-be looking gorgeous. Steve's mouth fell open as she slowly walked to him.
Once Natasha reached the end of the aisle, Steve reached out his hand to grab hers.
"Hi." Steve says softly
"Hi." Natasha replied back
"You look stunning." Steve says
"And you look very handsome." Natasha says
The officiant started the ceremony. Steve and Natasha spaced out a bit by all the parts about love and loyalty. Listening would've made them feel a lot more guilty.
"Do you, Steven Grant Rogers, take Natalia Alianovna Romanova as your lawful wife, and will you love her in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" The officiant says
"I do." Steve says
"Do you, Natalia Alianovna Romanova, take Steven Grant Rogers as your lawful husband, and will you love him in sickness and in health, until death do you part?" The officiant says
Without hesitation Natasha said, "I do."
"By the authority vested in me by the state of New York, I now pronounce you husband and wife." The officiant says
Steve and Natasha looked right at each other. Everyone in the crowd was staring at them.
"You may kiss the bride." The officiant says
"Right, yeah." Steve says
Steve leaned in and captured Natasha's lips. It was the perfect first kiss. Their friends and family were clapping behind them, but that all faded away into a blur.
Once they let go off each other their eyes locked and they smiled at each other. Steve grabbed Natasha's hand and together they walked down the aisle back to the estate.
"How are you feeling?" Steve asks
"I'm alright." Natasha says
"Now we only have to take care of some paperwork and you can stay here as long as you want." Steve says
"Thank you, without you I would have to back where I came from and I don't want that." Natasha says
"You're not going anywhere, not as long as I'm here." Steve says
Natasha smiled at him and looked up at him. Slowly they inched closer to each other. Natasha stood on her toes, but just when they were about to kiss the door behind them opened.
"They are ready for you." Joseph says
"Okay, let's get going." Steve says
Joseph picked up a microphone and let the couple back outside. "Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever, mr and mrs Rogers."
Everybody started to clap and congratulate the couple when they walked passed the tables.
"Congratulations, pal." Bucky says and padded Steve on the shoulder.
"Thanks, Bucky." Steve says
"We got you a gift and I really hope you like it." Wanda says
"Everyone got them a gift." Sam says
"But they didn't get them the coffee machine Wanda uses in her cafe." Bucky says
"That's really nice of you, I like your coffee the best." Steve says
"It's really thoughtful of you." Natasha says
"And I got a little self treatment package for you, with some nice soaps and face masks." Steve says
"Thank you so much." Natasha says
"It was very nice talking to you, but we have to talk to a lot of others. I'll see you two Monday." Steve says
"Monday? Aren't you two going on a honeymoon?" Sam asks
"Well Steve is really busy with work and we haven't actually thought about it." Natasha asks
"Unacceptable. We didn't get a chance to throw you a bachelor party, but no honeymoon? That's unacceptable." Bucky says
"Well we can always go another time." Steve says
"If you do it next year it will be a normal vacation." Bucky says
"Bucky, we made up our minds. There's no honeymoon for now." Steve says, "Excuse us, we have other guests to talk to. See you Monday."
The newlyweds walked beside guests and said "hi" to most of them.
"Oh, there are my colleagues from work, do you wanna say hi?" Natasha says
"Of course." Steve says
"Natasha! Congratulations with your marriage." Maria says
"Thank you so much." Natasha says, "Steve, I want you to meet Maria, Clint and Clint's wife, Laura."
"It's nice to meet all of you." Steve says
"Auntie Nat!" Lila says and ran to Natasha.
"Hi there." Natasha says and picked Lila up. "You look like a princess."
"You look more like a princess!" Lila says
"Steve, this is Lila our daughter and over there is Cooper our son. And right now Laura is pregnant with our son Daniel." Clint explained to Steve
"Oh, well congratulations on the baby." Steve says
"Thanks." Laura says
"You got very cute kids." Steve says
"Yeah, and Natasha is a very good babysitter for them." Laura says, "If you two will have kids they will look so cute."
"Yeah, probably." Steve says
Steve looked over to Natasha who was talking to the kids while she almost sat on the floor in her wedding dress. Natasha looked at Steve and smiled at him.
