they were currently in the backyard and jisung was standing across from minho with the soccer ball under his foot. "okay, i'll kick it to you and just kick it back." jisung lightly kicked it and minho missed.
he fucking missed.
he crouched down to bury his face in his hands and jisung suddenly chuckled. "you weren't lying. it's okay, come on. i'll help you out." minho stood up and jisung stayed next to him. he showed minho how to kick the ball and minho nodded.
"okay, we'll try again." jisung went to his original spot and lightly kicked the ball, and minho kicked it back. "there we go!"
"alright , minho, let's work on your soccer skills. i'll show you a few tricks to get started." jisung starts dribbling the ball skillfully, showcasing his agility and control. minho watches with a mixture of awe and distraction, struggling to focus on the lesson.
'keep it together, minho. don't let your crush get in the way.'
jisung notices minho's distracted state and stops dribbling.
"everything alright, minho? you seem a bit off."
"oh, yeah, i'm fine! just... my mind is a bit scattered, you know? it's nothing important."
jisung furrows his brow but decides not to press the matter.
"alright , let's start with passing. watch closely and try to mimic my technique."
jisung demonstrates a crisp, accurate pass. minho's eyes linger on jisung's athletic form, making it difficult for him to concentrate. he attempts to pass the ball, but it veers off course, hitting a nearby tree instead.
"sorry, jisung. i'll try again."
"don't worry about it, minho. it takes practice. just focus on your form and follow through."
as minho retrieves the ball, he steals a quick glance at jisung, his heart pounding. he whispered to himself. "i wish i could tell you how i feel already, jisung. but for now, i'll settle for learning soccer from you."
they continue the lesson, with jisung patiently guiding minho through drills and exercises. despite minho's occasional mishaps, jisung remains encouraging and supportive. as the sun sets, they both take a break, sitting on the grassy backyard. "you're improving, minho. keep up the effort."
"thanks, ji. i know i'm pretty bad."
jisung smiles warmly, unaware of the hidden emotions minho carries. they continue their soccer practice, enjoying the camaraderie and the unspoken connection between them, as the sun casts a golden glow over the yard.

"i should get home." jisung nodded and minho glanced down to remember he still wore jisung's clothes. "oh, i'll give you-"
"did you want to stay?"
minho blinked quickly. "sorry?"
"did you want to stay over? you can come to my practice in the morning."
the purple haired took out his phone and nodded. "uh, yeah. sure." he texted felix that he was staying at jisung's since they lived beside each other and quickly got a response of an okay. jisung's mood seemed to have brightened and had a smile on his face. "do you want anything to eat? i can't cook well, but we have microwavable food."
