minho hadn't shown up to school the entirety of the next week. contacted nobody. none of his friends knew where he was.
wasn't at home, or anywhere they knew that he could be. they filed a report, people searched for him.
it was like he disappeared.
jisung was sat in class and the door opened. he glanced at the door to see minho walking in, but he looked exhausted.
his eyes widened and he stood up, not caring about his lecture, grabbing minho's hand and pulling him outside the class down the hallway.
he ran into the janitor's closet with him and cupped his cheeks. "where the fuck have you been, minho? do you know how worried we were? are you okay?"
minho nodded slowly and felt his eyes closing at the exhaustion he felt. "i'm okay." he whispered as his voice cracked slightly.
jisung's heart nearly broke at the tears forming in minho's eyes and the tone of voice he had. he sounded so tired.
"i'll take you to my mine, okay? you can sleep for a bit."
"but your classes-"
jisung shushed him and minho exhaled deeply, as jisung brought him out of the tiny room and they exited the school when they got to the front.
-
jisung helped minho up his stairs, and into his room. "do you want clothes?" minho shrugged and the latter sighed, laying minho down on the bed.
" 'm sorry, ji."
jisung shook his head, softly smiling. "we can talk after. get some sleep, yeah?"
minho gently patted the space next to him and opened his arms. "please?" he moved back in the bed to make more space and jisung laid next to him, pulling him into his chest.
his arms wrapped securely around minho's waist, as the older wrapped his own around jisung's neck.
"do you want to tell me where you've been? we were worried."
minho hid his face in jisung's neck and sighed. "i took a break from everything. just drove around."
"you could have texted someone, i thought something dangerous happened to you."
" 'm sorry. i was so overwhelmed i had to take a break."
jisung shook his head. "it's okay, min. just text someone next time, okay? fuck, i was so worried about you."
"i'm sorry-"
"no, it's okay. was the break nice, at least?" minho hummed and jisung gently ran his fingers through the older's hair.
"i'm glad. i'll wake you up when you've gotten a good amount of rest. you deserve it."
gently kissing his forehead, jisung smiled to himself. he decided to get some rest as well.
obviously he would take the chance with a cute boy in his arms, cuddled up to him.
—-
it was definitely weird.
being known as jisung's 'boyfriend.' word got around quick since jisung was so popular.
minho didn't like attention. it made him uncomfortable and especially all the stares and threat he had been receiving lately.
he walked the halls, entering the gym to look for jisung. he saw his teammates helping to clean up equipment but no jisung.
he heard a yell of his name and jumped. "holy shit! you're minho!"
jisung whipped his head at the shouting and cursed to himself. "shit, he's shy." as soon as he ran over, minho was blushing heavily and his face was buried in his hands.
"jisung! how did you land minho?! he's so fucking pretty!"
jisung went to minho's side, wrapping an arm around his waist to pull him into his chest. "you okay?"
he muttered quietly into minho's hair, and minho nodded. he smiled softly at the concern and he could definitely get used to this.
"do you need to go somewhere quieter?" minho nodded, and jisung sighed. "i'm going to take him home. i'll see you guys next week."
they exited the gym and minho dropped their intertwined hands. "you do know that you don't have to try so hard for us to look real, right?"
jisung's head tilted to the side. "what do you mean?" the older shrugged. "you don't have to like always be affectionate to me. everyone knows."
jisung didn't really notice how he was acting since it just felt so natural with minho. "oh. okay, i'll tone it down a bit."
the older watched jisung's face fall into a small frown and quickly sighed. "no- it's okay- i'm just- i'm not good with this. i'm awkward and shy. you're very out there. you know?"
"yeah. i get it. if i need to tone it down, just let me know."
minho knew it was fake.
jisung didn't mean anything he did.
he wasn't in love. he didn't even like minho.
