LINGERING TO THE dream of someone whispering to her, the Shipgirl slowly rose from her bed. She opens her curtains for the sun to shine through and quietly puts her clothes on. Normally she would be woken up by her friend, but today and unfortunately many days further will not happen.

Adjusting her cap, she steps out of the room and heads straight to the cafeteria. Passing by some fellow Eagle Union girls. Even bumping into Cleveland, who is running with loads of communication gear. Mostly her close friend, Helena specializes.

Holding a hand over her eyes to shield them from the sun, the Shipgirl looks around and sees the Royal Navy running around in groups.

Since only returned last night after reporting to HQ and the naval base has been infiltrated by a Siren doing her absence. Unfortunately, there was also a rogue Shipgirl, Monarch. Bargaining to save her life by holding a hostage.

The Sakura Empire oddly told everyone to stay in Azur Lane while they patrol the water around it to capture Monarch since she is still at large and too injured to flee into the water. Queen Elizabeth was quite annoyed but surprisingly let them while her faction is on the land.

The whole thing is kept secret from the HQ since it is about the decommissioning of Monarch and if they hear about it, the redhead is headed to the firing squad.

Then she hears an eagle above her. However, not just any eagle, but Grim. Her trustworthy animal companion with her two sisters also having Grim as their companion. The three shared a deep bond and Grim shows how deep it is by having all three as his owner.

'If only they could be here.' She pets Grim by the peck as she looks to the main building of the naval base. "What are you doing, Enty? Monologuing again?" Grim chirps to the girls and the tanned girl turns to her sister.

"Not in front of her, Portland."

"Hehehe! Indy just looks so cute!" Portland blushes faintly as she tries to touch her sister, but is punched into the tree.

"You should hurry to the cafeteria if you want Wednesday's specialty," Indianapolis tells her before heading to a green neko to find a potion to shut someone up.

"Maybe there is some food for you too, Grim." The eagle flies happily towards the cafeteria and Enterprise moments later enters the place.

"Hey, Enterprise!" Javelin and her two friends greet the Grey Ghost as they are already feeding Grim with some special portion of food for the Manjuus and Meowfficers.

"Thanks for feeding him. He flew from HQ and here without a stop." Enterprise rubs his head as Laffey tiredly feeds the eagle.

"Where is Ayanami?" She notices the silent, but deadly girl out of the four gone.

"Patrolling with Takao-class sisters. They are very thrilled about Monarch." Nimi answers as she feeds Boo and Timothy in her arms.

"I heard from mouth to mouth. But never someone from the scene. Could you girls tell me what happened?" Javelin and Nimi look at each other. Unsure if they can say it to her since they know she would not the answer.

"Commander requested nobody outside at the scene can know what happened rather than Monarch going rogue," Laffey answers, and Enterprise's face becomes covered in shadow.

"The Commander... Huh, him again." Her heels clicks and Enterprise turns her destination to the office of the Commander than the cafeteria, skipping breakfast since she suddenly feels lesser hungry after mentioning him. The man who took her sisters before her eyes.
