"Did you have to bring that bird and little thief?" Sebastian asks as he and Alexis are waiting on Sarah while Alexis is playing with Serene and Bandit.
"You know I can't leave them alone in the common room. Until Professor Howin is able to help me build them a pen near the school grounds where I can leave them safely you know I either must take them with me or leave them with Poppy or Howin. And I don't like doing that. Especially with Serene. Because of her coloring she's wanted much more by poachers." Alexis says.
"How ever did you catch such a beast like that anyway?" Sebastian asks.
"Very careful and with help from Poppy." Alexis says.
"Hello Alexis, Sebastian. Enjoying the view?" A voice asks revealing to be Sarah.
"We're keeping an eye on things. Feldcroft isn't what it used to be. No one has felt safe since Ranrok's loyalists took a particular interest in that castle over there. Rockwood castle. My uncle Soloman is a former auror and refused to look into it even after Anne was cursed by one of them. Possibly with a wand no less." Sebastian says.
"I heard a goblin refer to wizardkind as wand-carriers. Are goblins forbidden from using wands?" Sarah asks.
"Yes. They are." Alexis says as she nods.
"And that's precisely why I'm on the hunt for answers. I need to understand what happened to her. Anne was always the most mischievous of the three of us. Knowing me and Ominis. She even puts Alexis to shame sometimes between the two of them. And that's saying something considering how Alexis can get when she's crossed." Sebastian says.
"Hey not my fault Garreth walked into a hex. Wasn't aimed at him anyway." Alexis says.
"Yeah and got you and me both yelled at for an hour over that older year student pranking you which started it." Sebastian says.
"Just be happy I didn't do a worse spell on him. At least I picked one that wore off after five hours." Alexis says as she looks at Sebastian.
"But anyway we're hoping a visit from me and a new friend from Hogwarts will help lift her spirits. Bring back the Anne we used to know. Come on. We'll take you to our uncle's." Sebastian says as he and Alexis run off with Sarah following them.
*Timeskip*
"Ah!" Sebastian shouts as the group quietly enters the house before he scares Anne as she is at the table.
"Sebastian! Where did you- Is that what I think it is?" Anne says as she sees Sebastian holding what he got in Hogsmeade before a walk walks over and grabs the item from him.
"We've been over this boy." The man says.
"Hey!" Sebastian says.
"Shrivelfigs can not reverse a curse. Nothing can. The sooner you accept that the better." The man says as he destroys the item and begins to walk away.
"But we haven't tried everything." Sebastian says.
"There is no cure. When will you accept that?" The man asks.
"Never. I can never accept it." Sebastian says before Anne screams and leans on the table in pain.
"Now look what you've done." The man says.
"Anne! I'm sorry!" Sebastian says.
"Leave." The man says as Sebastian looks at Anne sadly before going outside as Alexis and Sarah follow him.
"Sebastian. You didn't-" Alexis then gets cut off by Sebastian.
"If you don't mind I want a moment alone." Sebastian says as he walks off.
