Chapter 1
Two Meetings, One Debate

One day in a faraway land, no, in a different world, two people met; it wasn't love at first sight, but they both found the other quite intriguing. On that one faithful day, Sunghoon, who works for the royal family of the Ithil kingdom, ran into Jake who was walking towards the kitchen. As the chef responsible for cooking the meals served to the royal guards, he walked down that path so often that he could do it with his eyes closed. But of course, the day he decided to try that out, someone was in his way.
Knowing it was his fault, he immediately apologized.
"Omg I'm so sorry sir, I wasn't looking at where I was going" he said with a 90 degree bow
"No need to apologize, you had your eyes closed anyways" the man said making Jake turn red from embarrassment.
"Anyways, I have somewhere to be and I'm sure you do too" said the man leaving Jake
Since the man was wearing a uniform, Jake assumed the person he bumped into worked as a guard. He wasn't sure if he was a palace or personal guard though. After a few seconds, he began walking towards the kitchen again, this time with his eyes open.
A little bit later, as he was serving plates of food to the guards, one of them asked a question.
"What are we having today?" Said a voice Jake seemed to recognize
"Beef grilled over a fire with rice and a side of vegetables" responded Jake automatically
"Oh hi, good to see you again" the man said went Jake lifted his head handing over the plate
"Good to see you too" Jake replied realizing he was talking to the same guy he bumped into earlier
The guard walked away while Jake went back into the kitchen to clean it up. After that, he left for his cabin.
After a while, his phone rang, he checked the caller ID and it said Heeseung. Jake was confused since he was still on duty so he normally would never call since he's busy with the work Beomgyu, whom he worked for, dumped on him.
"Yo, what's up?" Jake said picking up
"The Prince wants to talk to you" Heeseung replied making him slightly nervous
"Prince Yeonjun or Prince Beomgyu?" Jake asked as the other prince was attending a meeting somewhere
"The third Prince" Heeseung replied referring to Beomgyu
"Uh ok, when?"
"Now"
"About?"
"Just move your ass and come here"
"Jeez, ok"
As Jake arrives at the palace, Heeseung comes out of nowhere are grabs him. He then drags him to a hallway.
"What are doing?" Jake asks
"Bringing you to the throne room" Heeseung replies with a serious tone
"Why the throne room tho?"
"Because your meeting the Prince!" Heeseung said as if it was common sense
"Right"
Once they arrived at the door leading to the throne room, Heeseung told the guards the purpose of the visit. The door then opened revealing Prince Beomgyu sitting on his throne.
"Welcome" He said in a calm voice
That one word did not calm Jake's nerves at all.
"Jake right?" The prince said after the two other boys bowed
