Chapter 2
Two Decisions...

Two days later
During these two days, Jake had thought about the offer day and night. He wrote down all of the possible outcomes, the things he'll have to risk and sacrifice and so much more. But in the end, that only made him more indecisive.
He was about to have a mental breakdown when he heard a knock. He went to open the door to see Heeseung.
"Fuck is it time already?" He asked
"You still have 2 hours, I just came to make sure you were still alive"
"Come help me decide will ya?"
"I thought you decided already"
"It's not that easy"

They sat down in the living room and Jake pulled out the papers he had been writing on.
"What's all this?" Asked Heeseung
"List of the possibilities, risks and shit"
"You really had to do that?"
"Yes"
Jake spend the next hour explaining to Heeseung what he wrote. In the end, Heeseung still didn't understand why it was such a big deal.
At this point Jake had an hour to decide and he was just if not more indecisive than two days prior.
"I dun known what to do... Heeseung help me"
"What am I suppose to do?"
"Idk"
"Bruh"
"Just agree, if you fail, there's always other kingdoms willing to accept you"
"But my reputati-"
"You don't even have one for gods sake"
"So?? It'll be destroyed before I even have one"
"Whatever, just say yes, in the worst case scenario you can just move across the land"
"Fine, but if I disappear after the ball, your at fault"
"K" Heeseung said rolling his eyes
In the end, Jake agreed and the pair went to the palace to meet the prince.
"So, Jake, did you make up your mind?" Prince Beomgyu asked once they arrived at the throne room
"Yes your highness"
"So is it a yes or a no?"
"I have decided to accept the offer your highness" Jake answered with confidence, even though he was feeling the opposite inside.
"Very well"
"I do have to tell you..." continued the prince
