Silvia and Frank are both aware of the wizarding world of as they were both Squibs. After they married they both left the wizarding world and lived together amongst the muggles. Silvia became a fashion designer and Frank became a Coast Guard. Frank had many brothers while Silvia was an only child who inherited everything from her family.
Silvia and Frank took in Peaches as a foster child when she was made to be put in hiding from the wizarding world so that the death eaters could get to her.
When Peaches powers started to come in and she was of age to go to a Boarding School her parents sent her to Durmstrang Institute for two years before they transferred her to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. The reason for them transferring Peaches was because they found out that a former Death Eater had become the headmaster of Durmstrang.
While at school Peaches had originally been sorted into Vulpelara while at Durmstrang. Students sorted into this house are generally friendly and value friends and family. They aren't usually aggressive but they can become so if they feel like their friends and family are threatened. In her two years there she had gained the attention of Viktor Krum who was nearly four years older than her. Even though they were in different houses and had different personalities Viktor quickly learnt that Peaches was simply too vulnerable and childish to have gone to boarding school especially Durmstrang where strength was prized.
Viktor took on an overly protective older brother role towards Peaches acting as her guide and protector. When Peaches left Durmstrang Viktor wasn't hurt or upset. Sure he knew that he'd miss her an awful amount but he also knew that Beauxbatons was a much better fit for Peaches. The two agreed to exchange letters and they kept their promises.
When Peaches was transferred to Beauxbatons she was incredibly shy but kind. She was sorted into Papillonlisse as they prized beauty of the mind and beauty of appearance above many other characteristics, and are always striving to improve natural qualities of life. Students of Papillonlisse are often daydreamers, hopeless romantics, and often fail to see things for what they are as they are not the most analytical of all people. They also tend to be emotional introverts. However Peaches lacked their surprising maturity and sophistication.
This time a girl named Fleur Delacour took Peaches under her wing. Fleur took the role of an older sister which came naturally to her considering she already had a little sister named Gabrielle. Fleur taught Peaches about makeup and helped her learn all about skin care and hygiene. They grew incredibly close to each other and Fleur became like a mentor for Peaches. Up until her fifth and final year of wizarding school where she got to go to Hogwarts and witness the Triwizard Tournaments.
