Peaches along with all of the other students hiked to the lake where the second task was being held. Getting on a boat Peaches and some other students rowed it to the stands that had been set up for the Triwizard Tournament. Getting onto the platform Peaches waited for the the other champions to arrive.
"Welcome to the second task. Last night, something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the Black Lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface." Dumbledore informed the crowd.
Peaches took off her clothes showing her bathing suit underneath. She had a blue two piece on with a swim dress over it. She took her potion and held the contents in her mouth.
"Simple enough, except for this. They will have but one hour to do so, and one hour only. After that, they'll be on their own. No magic will save them. You may begin at the sound of the cannon." Dumbledore said. The cannon was heard right afterwards and each contestant dove into the water. Well except for Harry who had to be pushed in.
As soon as Peaches dove in she swam further down until she was sure nobody from the surface could see her before she took her bottoms off and stick them in her dress pocket, zipping it close. She then swallowed the contents that she had been hold in her mouth and started to change. Her legs bonded themselves together and her fingers became webbed. Her entire body changed and vision became clear. She now had the body of a mermaid. Swimming through the waters she listened and heard the sound of mermaids.
