A Familiar Face☂︎︎

Mordecai had always been a thorn in my side, he's bossy, to big of a brain for my small one, and everything someone should not be! Sadly though he recently left and that meant no more rude and bossy person hanging around me telling me what i shouldn't do.

Lackadaisy went down hill after he left. Me and the gang had to start rumrunning, a lot got hurt but nothing like hope and happiness can't fix.

One day while rum running and almost getting caught I could've sworn that i saw Mordecai. It was probably just me. Mitzi claimed that we had another job to do and we all said it will be done. While in the car it was extremely boring.

I was the one who had to sit there and make sure we won't get caught, that all changed when Ivy went to get a flashlight. "Guys..we have company." They all looked forward and they see a car. I've got in and started the car, a feline came out of the car with a gun. We started to move and she started shooting.

"CRAP! IVY DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE?!" She shook her head in a panic. Rocky and Freckle came into the car, I was gripping on the door for dead life.

We started a chase and some things happened in the back, Rocky then came and popped up trying to help Ivy. "ROCKY GET IN THE BACK!" He kept trying to get Ivy to take a left, "There's no left here!" He panicked, "Use your imagination miss pepper!" We quickly took a left when there was a gunshot.

Me, Freckle, and Ivy were all screaming. Rocky quickly smiled then we crashed. I heard laughter automatically knowing that it was Rocky then a door slam. Ivy and Freckle got up, "Is it playtime?" Ivy said rubbing her head.

She looked back and I did the same seeing Freckle in a crazy state. I had wide eyes and she looked scared, "Sorry, sorry..there just this fire, this burning fire that- the engine compartment" Ivy got closer to him, he looked flustered but quickly said that the engine has a problem. Love birds.

She got out the car to fix it, Freckle soon came out then I did. I sighed and looked at Freckle, "I'm gonna go find Rocky." He nodded and i started to walk out.

You began walking around and questioning where the goof is, then you heard an explosion. Running to were it came from you saw Rocky on top of something while lighting dynamite. "Of course he would do something like this." You sighed and rolled your eyes running closer.

Stopping for a moment to take a breath you saw someone in front of you. Taking a moment to see who it was it was the ear flick that got you. "Mordecai..?" He turned around and realized who it was. "Wha- What are you doing here?!" Your ears pinned down, "None of your business!"

Mordecai rolled his eyes, "Whatever just get out of my way." I rolled my eyes. "No, your in my way!" I growled. We both looked back when we heard no more blows, then looked back at each other and ran towards the sight. Then it started to flood.

Mordecai quickly ran away and I tried but got stuck in mud making my clothes wet in an instant. 'God damnit.' Is what I mumbled out. The car drove by me and picked Rocky up, "Come on (Y/N)!" I ringed out my coat then got in the car.

After I got inside I took a breath then got my coat off of me. Rocky looked at freckle "Here freckle I got you a souvenir!" Then handed him dynamite, he got scared and threw it out the window. I chuckled the replied. "Your supposed to light it first." He looked at me then out the window.

Once we got back to the café the car was running on a string. "WE MADE IT EVERYBODY!" Rocky yelled, everyone else just mumbled.

When Rocky and Zib were lighting up the mood Mitzi saw my expression. "You good hun?" My ears went up and I looked at her. "Oh yeah sorry." She tilted her head, "Did something happen when going out?" I nodded and looked away. "What happened dear-?" Her expression grew to a worried one.

I sighed and looked at her, "I just saw...a familiar face, that's all." She smiled worriedly, "You don't have to tell me who though." I smiled slightly, "Thanks Ms. M." She nodded then walked away, I was just thinking to myself for the time being.

Though I'm glad I saw him, even if it was for a short minute. I smiled just thinking about him.

He's just a familiar face.
