♧︎ Confident ♧︎

You were shocked when Calvin asked you out in a date. Normally he would be a little scared and you'd help him speak it but always say yes, so when he turned around and didn't need any help saying it you were happy and said yes.

He said that you'll go on the date on Friday, just so he could stay out later. Now I'm the current situation before meeting him outside your apartment you were stuck on what clothes you want to wear.

You wanted to wear something nice but also classy. Plus he didn't say where you guys were going and didn't want to make a mistake with clothing, but you could be going to a restaurant. This is all so hard and confusing, "I should have asked him." Is what you mumbled out still stuck on the clothing choice.

After a few more minutes of staring into your closet you thought of a crimson red outfit, with matching shoes. Heading to the bathroom to freshen up and clean your teeth.

You stood there for a second before thinking that he wouldn't like your clothing choice, but Calvin isn't like that. He's nice, sweet, kind, and overall just amazing. Sighing as to not think about that you grabbed your tooth brush and quickly cleaned your teeth.

You stood in the mirror feeling confident for this date that you were having, plus you guys have been together for about a month or two. You were finally ready.

Making your way out the house and waiting for him, he said that he was going to borrow Rocky's car and pick you up. Taking out your pocket watch and seeing the time, it was 7:23 P.M. not bad. He said he would come around 7:30, so you were a little early outside.

"So you ready?" He said happily keeping his eyes on the road, unlike how Rocky drives. You nodded and responded, "Yes, but where are you taking me. You didn't specify when you asked." He responded with a slight chuckle then looked at you.

Completely ignoring the question and rubbing the back of his neck. "You dressed nicely." You looked down at the crimson outfit that was on you. "Uhm..thank you." Then you chuckled, "But you didn't answer my question!" He rolled his eyes and just continued driving.

"I'm taking you somewhere special, and it's none of your business." He said with a sly voice attached.

♧︎ Once Getting There ♧︎

He parked the car and got out, opening the door for you. "Wow, such a gentleman." You rolled your eyes and chuckled. He just rubbed the back of his neck. "L-let's go in..shall we?" He stuck out his arm for you to take, and you took it gracefully.

The restaurant was quite fancy and your glad you wore the clothes that you chose. Once he checked in, you grabbed his hand and sat down at a table. He looked at you then looked away, quickly ordering some drinks for you guys.

"You know that I could've ordered the drinks, right?" You put a small smile on your face and tilted your head a small bit. He looked back at you, "I know but I wanted to order." He said giving you a smile back.

When the waiter came back with the drinks you guys ordered your food, you happily ordered something not that expressive but Calvin noticed and said that you could order anything to your heart's content. You felt your heart flutter after he said that.

When the meal came he was talking to you and telling you jokes, and you were doing the same just having a good time with your love.

Then the end came around, the waiter came back saying that when you were done you had to pay at the front. Calvin nodded understanding then looked to you. "Are you done?" You nodded and smiled.

He grabbed your hand and you guys made your way to the front of the restaurant. The waiter gave the pricing, you automatically took your wallet out. That's when he stopped you, "What are you doing?" You just looked at him, "I'm paying?" He shook his head and paid for it.

You just had your mouth hung open, "What love?" You blinked a few times then responded to him, "Nothing, nothing at all dear." Then you looked at him with a smile.

After making your way out you guys decided to talk a little before he dropped you back off at your home. "Thanks for dinner Calvin." You put a lovely smile on your face. "Anytime love!" He came a little closer and held your hand tighter.

That's when he stared to feel butterflies in his stomach, he was prepared for this. He looked at you, but your head was facing away from him looking at something else.

He put his finger under your chin and you quickly pointed your head at him. "Yes?" Your eyebrow quirked up in a questioning manner. He then quickly put his lips on yours, you were quite shocked at that. You accepted it though, happily moving when he was.

When you guys parted he chuckles and looked back at you. "What..am I a bad kisser?" He shook his head, "No I just had to gain a lot of confidence for that." Then you guys both started to laugh.

But you were glad he gained the confidence to kiss you.
