I decided to go into the city today. By myself.

I never went outside of the hostel without Pavitr. I've been around the hostel and down the street the hostel is located on. But not beyond that.

So why not try it out? I shouldn't be reliant on Pavitr. And I had decided to stay here for at least a few weeks. I was on my summer holidays anyway, and I'm sure my parents wouldn't worry too much for me. They were away for a few weeks anyway and there was still so much I wanted to explore in this world.

Or it might be because I wanted to stay with Pavitr for longer.

It's been a week since I've started work. And as much as it's been exhausting, it's been fun! The other employees are very kind and understanding, and they're great fun to talk with.

I booked an auto rickshaw and headed down the street, not really knowing where I was going. Until I saw a flower stall. I was reminded of the first day I got here around two weeks ago, and the jasmine flowers Spiderman bought me.

I asked the driver to stop here. He obeyed and stopped near the flower stall. I dug out a rupees note I had just earned today and paid him.

I stepped out of the auto and thanked the driver as I walked on. I headed towards the stall, a smile unknowingly forming on my face.

It was the same flower stall from that day too. I strode over to the stall and stood in front of it. The woman behind the flower stall was threading flowers together with her fingers and thread. She looked up at me upon noticing a shadow being cast. She gave me a warm smile.

"You were the girl with Spiderman last time. You're still here in Mumbattan?" She said with a gentle manner. I nodded.

"Could I have the same flowers we got last time?" I asked. The woman immediately put the flowers in her hands down and picked up the jasmine flowers. She grabbed the scissors and snipped pretty much the same length she did the first time.

She passed the flowers to me. She told me the price and I paid, once again with my first salary. She continued to stare at me however as I took the flowers.

"Would you like me to put them in your hair?" She offered. I nodded with a timid smile.

"If you don't mind." I said. She stepped out from behind her stall and came around to me.

I gave her the flowers I bought and turned around. I felt a piece of metal which I assumed was a pin dig into my head. I bit back a wince.

"They look beautiful on you." I heard the woman say from behind me. I turned around, assuming she had successfully put them in my hair. I smiled gratefully at her.

"Thank you, ma'am." I thanked. The woman gave me a solemn nod. I gave her a small wave before heading on my way down the street.

I remembered the first time we came around here there was a tea stall close by. I peered up and down the street and spotted said tea stall.

I beamed and started walking towards it. I could smell the scent of the jasmine in my hair. It was pleasant, and boosted my mood. My spirit was lifted and I felt free. Nothing bothered me in that moment. The smile on my face never left.

I walked up to the tea stall. I tried remembering what Spiderman said. The man behind the counter looked at me expectantly as I was trying to collect my thoughts and words together.
