Scene 1, explanation. A wolf known as Night is the eldest from her littler. As natural instinct would have it her two younger brothers left the pack months before to find their own territories and to take a mate and build their own pack. Night being the eldest felt like she had to stay to carry out her duties of being future alpha since her father's health was declining due to a unknown illness. But her younger sibling was born just a few months before the other two left. Given this new hope that the new pup (kodiak) could one day lead the pack, she would attempt to escape into the darkness and complete her journey like almost every wolf does. But now she not only must face the future dangers of the wilderness, but the danger of her own pack, reluctant to lose another member that would be vital to help carry on their existence.
