Moonlight Flower: Book II

Chapter I

Proceed to the next plan, Jake ordered using the shells to give his commands, as a swarm of demons appeared, casting his magical vines.

Okay, got it! Riki responded as he readies to attack as well.

Riki emerged out of nowhere as the vines began to strangle and coil around the  demons.

Wind Blades!

All of the creatures were shattered.

Swift move, Riki, Jake commended.

High five! Riki lifted his hand and gave Jake a high five.

Boy, do I miss him, Jake sighed.

Move out of the way! Sunghoon shouted as he sprinted away from a monstrous dragon-like beast.

What exactly is that? Riki gasped.

I think it's the monster that's been terrorizing the villagers, Jake replied and he and Riki ran after Sunghoon.

Jay, Jungwon, it's heading towards you, Jake warned them, when he remembered something.

Understood! Jungwon answered.

Wait, I think I've seen that monster before, as he rummage through the pages of the book of History.

Sunghoon entered the temple with no way out.

It's time, Jungwon. 

Then, just as the monster had Sunghoon cornered and was ready to devour him, Jungwon leaped onto its tail and used his trident to bolt it to the ground, immobilizing the creature.

Jay! He yelled.

Wait! Jake gasped as he dashed inside, but was too late.

Jay leapt and ran towards the beast, decapitating it with the blade of his bow.

The monster's head blew up all over them.

Ewww! Sunghoon puked as the monster's blood soaked them all.

Riki grinned as he said, "Way to go, Jay."

It's a group effort, Jay grinned.

Jake replied, "No, no, no, you're not supposed to cut its head off!"

The earth started to shake and tremble, and the monster's body began to stir and rise up.

What's that sound? Riki shivered as the monster's body emerged and the head was replaced by two more.

What the hell is going on? Jungwon cursed.

Take shelter! Jake yelled as the creature rained acid on them.

What exactly is that thing? Jungwon inquired, as he concealed behind the rocks.

It's a hydra, no doubt about it. When the head of that mythical monster is severed, two more grow back.

Jay yelled, "You could've just told me ahead of time!"

Because you didn't take the time to wait and listen! Jake growls sarcastically.

So, how are we going to defeat it?

Sunghoon and Riki jumped towards the hydra and began slashing every head that appeared before Jake could give the command.

What the hell are you doing? He yelled.

Oopppsss! Both Riki and Sunghoon croaked as they were enveloped by the monster's tentacles.
