As the group trailed after Yeonjun, their eyes widened in astonishment as the path led them to an extremely familiar location.
Moonhaven?! A hush fell over everyone as their eyes beheld the sight before them - the school, once a beacon of hope and knowledge, now stood battered and nearly ruined. Gasps escaped their lips, a collective breath stolen by the devastation that lay before them.
"What is happening?" Jungwon's eyes widened as they beheld the sight of Jiaer and the rest, sprawled out on the dusty earth.
"Guys, what happened?"
"Yugyeom. He's here," said Jiaer.
"You're all hurt. Please allow me to help," Jaebeom interrupted Jake just as he was about to unleash his magic.
Save it for yourself, please. We'll manage, we promise. Reserve your life force; you'll need it," he said.
"Where is he?" Asked Sunghoon.
"He's at the Grand Hall" Jinyoung said.
"What about the other students?" Jay inquired.
"Don't worry, they've been evacuated," Bambam reassured.
"After you left, Jae felt a strange presence, so we returned and started evacuating everyone," Seungkwan added.
"Where are they now?" Riki, with a furrowed brow and a hint of concern in his voice, inquired.
"We instructed them to protect the humans, to carry their bodies in a safe place," Hoshi chimed in.
Jae then rose from his position and sauntered over to where Sunoo's body sleeps, his hand reaching out to gently touch his face.
He said, "Wake up little one, we need you," and then used what little strength he had left to restore Sunoo's abilities.
What is happening? Sunoo woke up feeling disoriented.
Heeseung answered, 'Yugyeom is here.'
"And all the human souls had been taken by him," Riki said somberly.
After hearing such remarks, Sunoo immediately stood up and started talking.
No! It can't be! We need to save them. We need to retrieve them. Let's do this one final time. He clenched his fingers as he began walking towards the school.
Heeseung ordered the others, saying, 'Everyone, let's do this.'
What is our plan? Riki inquired.
Engage in an offensive maneuver and eliminate Yugyeom! Jake clenched his teeth.
"Remember guys, it's now or never!" added Wonwoo.
"Every action we take will alter the course of events," said Jun.
Let's give it our all! Sunghoon exclaimed.
That's what I am talking about! Jay exulted as he began enveloping himself in flames.
Hey everyone! Please, do not die! Jungwon made a joke that caused everyone to burst into laughter.
Soobin smirked and said, "The lucky one will have the opportunity to take down Yugyeom."
Oh, yeah! The crowd erupted in cheers.
"Let's go," Sunoo ordered, leading the way into the wrecked school.
As they opened the doors to the school halls, a powerful blast greeted them, but Sunoo swiftly deflected it with his bare hand.
