⚡Hayame's POV⚡

Being nervous was not something I was used to. I couldn't quite put my finger on why I felt this way. After all, I was one of the top students at my middle school, and I had no doubt in my mind that I was fit for whatever challenges awaited my entrance exam. So why this unease?
This is all Yo's fault.

I adjusted my middle school uniform while confidently striding through the entrance of U.A. High School. I was ready to kick ass and make a name for myself.
As I looked around, I spotted a familiar face-it was Bakuhoe!
"Bakuhoe! Hey, wait up," I called out with a shit eating grin. I had met Bakugo on the train ride over to U.A. High School. Being the social butterfly that I am, I couldn't resist annoying him throughout the entire journey. I knew his name from the news; he had been attacked by a sludge monster, which sounded tough.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Bakuhoe screamed, clearly frustrated.
I maintained my closed-eye smile while casually flipping him off.
"YOU WANNA DIE, DUMBASS?" Bakuhoe shouted angrily. I couldn't help but laugh as I walked beside him. He looked like he was about to explode with rage. It was so easy to get a reaction out of him, something I could never quite achieve with Yo.
While walking, I noticed a boy with green hair, and Bakuhoe seemed to notice him too. He became even more agitated, which surprised me. I wasn't sure how he could get any angrier.
"Stupid Deku," Bakuhoe grunted, clearly irritated by the sight of the green-haired boy.
Deku appeared both surprised and slightly scared by Bakuhoe's reaction.
"Kachaan," Deku squeaked.
I burst into laughter. "Kachaan, what kind of name is that?" I stifled a chuckle, finding the situation quite amusing.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE I KILL YOU!" Bakuhoe screamed at me, his frustration reaching its peak. I simply laughed harder in response.
Deku looked confused and tried to diffuse the tension. "Um, let's just all do our best out there, okay?" he said, attempting to calm Bakuhoe down.
"Good luck to you too!" I said, waving goodbye to him.
"Why are you wishing him luck?" Bakugo roared, his anger simmering beneath the surface. I raised an eyebrow at him while playfully patting his hair.
"I'm going to go inside now. Be nice," I said to him with a tone one might use when speaking to a little kid.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" he shouted, igniting small explosions with his hands, a pretty cool quirk, I must admit.
With that, I left Bakuhoe behind, chuckling to myself. It was clear that Bakugo's explosive temper and my penchant for getting under his skin would make for an interesting dynamic, I hope we both get into the same class.

(I will now proceed to skip the scene in where President Mic explains everything)
I was pretty confident in my results for the written exam. It seemed quite simple to me.
I quickly changed into sweats and a T-shirt, making sure to wear my special running shoes made of reinforced tripolymer. With these shoes, I wouldn't have to worry about them burning out when I ran at high speeds. I had to maximize my points, so my strategy was to swiftly run around to get the three-pointers.
