RWBY's Soldiers

The sound of artillery, small arms, and tank tracks fills the air as an army from the era of the Second World War rolled through, the soldiers are all in silhouettes until a familiar Dirty Yellow silhouette opens the hatch of a Sherman and mans the .50 Cal, opening fire on an invisible enemy.

The scene then 'swivels' to reveal Nazi Artillery which open fire on the enemy tanks closing in, among them a bright yellow silhouette with bright blue eyes is seen loading the ammo for the German artillery before it opened fire once again. On the other end of the battlefield, instead of Shermans, was a battalion of Soviet T-34's lead by an entirely white silhouette with a single streak of red in her hair and blue eyes who pointed at the enemy artillery as the tank opened fire.

The scene then cuts to a marching line where a Baby Blue silhouette walks past, hauling around a machine gun, when he hears the sound of gunfire and ducks to set up his machine gun. A green silhouette is seen charging at him, leading a banzai charge. The Blue one opens fire and cuts them all down as the scene cleanly cuts to the Dirty Yellow one cutting down a group of what silhouettes.

Suddenly the dramatic filter comes off as the enemies who got cut down rise to their feet and congratulate the other side with handshakes, revealing to not be hurt having just been in 3 separate reenactment battles. The 3 silhouettes are focused on from the side with borders separating the Blue and the Green, he White and the Bright Yellow, and the Dirty Yellow who appear to be in very different areas as the title of the story is typed in.

General POV

Andy yawned awake in his hotel room in Manila, he had been preparing for a reenactment of the Leyte landings with his friend Hana Akagi which he had befriended after a reenactment of the Okinawa landings....except, he wasn't in his hotel room, he was in the middle of a goddamn forest, and he wasn't alone.

Hana was there, alongside 3 other people in WW2 clothing. Immediately the people shot up and grabbed their old rifles and aiming at the unknowns. The American Marine spoke up first.

Marine: "Aight, can any of y'all speak English?" he asked, holding up a Garand.

The group looks at each other and nods, of course they understood the language.

Marine: "Oh thank god..." he sighed in relief, "now before we shoot each other's heads off, we should probably get introductions out of the way."

Hana: "You should start American, superpower's privilege." she said, not batting an eye to the Russian who threw her hands up in frustration.

Alex: "Alrighty then, I'm Alex Orr of the USMC, I pilot an F4U Corsair as part of the 63rd Reenactment Division." he said.

Andy and Hana lower their guns. 

Alex: "Alright...you, German, can you introduce yourself?" he asked. 

The girl, a 6 foot tall blondie with bright, baby blue eyes, sighed before speaking. 

Bismarck: "Hello, I am Lieutenant Bismarck Von Miller of the Third Reich Army." she said, "I am part of an artillery unit for the 5th Reenactment Unit, Jap, you are next." 

Hana: "Kon'nichiwa I am Private First Class Hana Akagi, a valued member of the Imperial Japanese Army." she said, "I am part of the 99th reenactment division." 

Andy: "I'm her 'enemy', Staff Sargent Francis Andre B Yan, call me Andy though, a Machine Gunner of the Commonwealth Philippine Army." he saluted, "I'm a member of the 32nd reenactment division which is why I said enemy in air quotes.....so I guess that leaves you Ruskie."
