General POV

The screen opens to a rearview shot of the gathered Union and Atlesian force staring at the massive armada that the Grimm and White Fang had cooked up. It was an intimidating force for sure, and one that wasn't waiting around as X-Wings, Y-Wings, A-Wings, Tie Fighters, Tie Bombers, Tie Interceptors, and Lambda Class Shuttles screamed out of hangar bays and off of launching platforms, forming up with an utterly massive wave of flying Grimm. In the transports White Fang Grunts held down Grimm of varying types, ready to unleash them on anyone unlucky enough to be feeling negative.

Amelia: "All fighters, form up on your wingmen and defend the city of Vale!" she ordered.

Bruno: "You heard the lady, let's move it Bullet Squad, double time!" he yelled.

Phenix 2: "Phenix Squad, roll out, let's deal with the sci-fi wannabes!" he ordered.

Moscow Squad Leader: "For the glory of the motherland!" she yelled.

Kaigun Kōkūtai Leader: "The fate of our home is on our shoulders, may we all do our duties valiantly." he said, completely devoid of any positivity.

Immelmann Squadron Leader: "Try not to die mien Freunde's!" he yelled, "When this is all done I want to drink beer in salute to this day!"

The pilots roared in agreement and rolled into dogfights with the enemy fighters, joined soon by the Yamato's, Musashi's, and Hyuga's compliments of Cosmo Falcons, Cosmo Tigers, and Cosmo Zeros with Atlesian Bullheads and Mantas joining in half an hour later. On the ground, people ran about panicked as Union Tanks and Anti-Air vehicles opened fire on the Grimm and enemy fighters, joined by AK-200 units, among this crowd of panicking people was Salem who was horrified by what her creatures were causing.

Mauled Bystander: "Help me!" he begged, "It hurts!"

Burning Bystander: "AAAGGGHHHH!!!" she screamed, running around like a chicken missing its head.

Lost Child 1: "MAMA!!" he cried, holding onto his injured little sister.

Bystander 450: "No! No! NOOO!!" he yelled, getting flown away by a gryphon.

Salem: "Oh...my god..." she said, aghast at what her creations were doing.

More and more Grimm descended from the sky, taking out the other injured sprawling on the ground or running around in a panic until finally Salem had enough. As another Gryphon was about to chomp down on the 2 lost children a bright flash of multiple colors erupted from the crowd as Salem shed her human camouflage and exercised her status among the Grimm and glared at the Gryphon. The non-starship infused Grimm immediately stopped their attacks, whimpering fearfully.

The civilians and soldiers were confused, looking behind them to see the pale woman emerge from the crowd, her aura flaring and rapidly expanding, the Grimm fearfully backing away from her as she walked over to the children, kneeled down, and extended a hand.

Salem: "It is okay little ones." she said, remembering something she watched long long long ago and grabbing a rusty Luger from her dress, "Why you ask? Because I am here."

Union Fleet battling over Vale

As dogfights erupted around the fleets, the Union Ships gave broadside and opened fire on the opposing fleet with everything from shock canons to rocket torpedoes while the Grimm fleet opened fire with their turbolasers and ion canons, with some of the stray shots hitting the remaining Atlesian Capital Ships.
