We got to the party early.
Most people hadn't arrived yet so the place was still a but calm.
I know later in the night it would probably be filled with horny drunk teenagers
but for now we had some free time so we sat on a couch in the sitting area and listened to the music.

Kem kept on clinging to Kelvin, so there was no way I could talk to him privately. So annoying.

The club was getting full as more people began to arrive.
It was just a fun party, nothing like a big celebration or birthday stuff.
Kem dragged Kelvin to the dance floor and they started dancing.
I sat there partially miserable the couch as I watched them dance. Finally, I couldn't beat it again. I was jealous I needed a drink.

I stood up and walked over to the bar to get some shots to distract my mind.
It didn't help that much. I couldn't stop watching them. I turned in their direction and saw both of them laughing as they danced.

In irritation I turned back to the bartender and ordered more shots till I lost count.  Finally, I was drunk and wasted.

By this time the party had fully started.
I went over to the dance floor, there was no sight of Kelvin or Kem so I started dancing with a random guy.
I was having so much fun, until the guy started touching me. I didn't think much of it until he forcefully kissed me.

I tried pushing him away but he was so strong, and I began to panic.
Everybody was dancing not minding what was going on around them.
In the chaos on the dance floor, I doubt anyone even noticed something was wrong.

Fear gripped my heart as he started to drag me to the restroom.
I was fully drunk and while it registered at the back of my head that I probably should try to get away from him, I was not in control of my body and I followed him freely.

When we got to the bathroom he pushed me hard against the wall. And the alcohol haze cleared a bit. My heart was beating so fast, and I was terrified.
He roughly kissed my lips, and I tried to push him away with weak that kept on trembling.

He batted my hands away like it was later and easily tore my shirt.
I was in serious panic mode now, and began to struggle as much as I could.
I tried to punch him but he caught my hand in mid-air and slapped me across my face.

The tears streamed from my eyes and my cheeks stung painfully where he had slapped me.
Suddenly, someone kicked the door open. Luckily it was Kelvin, immediately he saw what was going on, he rushed to my rescue.

He pulled the guy off me and punched him several times until he got unconscious.

I stod still pressed against the wall, trying to control my heart beats and sobs. My shirt was ripped and I tried to pull the tattered pieces together.

Kelvin grew angrier when the saw the red welt that was blooming on my cheeks where the guy had hit me.
He continued to punch the unconscious guy in anger. He man was already bloodied enough and unconscious.
Any more beating and he might actually die.

I had to stop him.

"Kelvin!" I screamed.
"please stop,"I cried out while sobbing.

He gave the guy one final punch and pushed him away in disgust. He got up and turned to look at me with a sad expression.

I tried to calm my tears but as he walked towards me and hugged me, I started to cry all over again.

He pulled away and took off his jacket to cover me up.
"Are you okay?"He asked concerned as he used his thumbs to wipe off the tears on my cheeks.

I nodded in reply.  He held me and we walked out of the restroom together.

Kem was waiting outside, and saw us the moment we got out of the restroom.

It seemed like she had been looking for us.

"What's the problem?" she asked concerned as she took in my tears, and the red bruise forming on my cheek.

"Kelvin explain. What happened to her?" She demanded slightly panicked.

She seemed to notice that I didn't feel like talking and pulled me away from Kelvin.
"I'm so sorry," she said as she hugged me tightly.

"Will you want a ride too?" Kelvin asked her as he began to herd me out of the club.

"I will take a cab," she replied.
"Just please, take care of her." she finally said as she hugged me again.

We got out of the club and walked over to the car quietly.
Kem opened the car door for me and Kelvin helped me in and buckled my seatbelt for me.

Kelvin went over to the other side and got into the car as well.
Kem stepped back and waved us as Kelvin looked at me before he started the car engine.

I rested my head on the window pane and stared out at the road as we moved.
The trees, houses, and people. The streets of London were quite busy. The alcohol seemed to reduced and I was fully lucid but silent.

When we finally got to my place. I didn't even notice.
Kelvin came down from his side of the car and opened the car door for me to come out.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and slowly got out of the car while using his jacket to cover my ruined shirt.
Kelvin walked me to my room quietly.
My cheeks still stung and the events of he night kept playing through my head.

I barely registers when he bent low and helped me take my shoes off or when he sat me down on the bed and left to get some makeup wipes.

Kelvin gently wiped off the remains of the mascara streaks that ran down my face.
He poured me a glass of water to drink but I shook my head.

The last thing I wanted was to put something in my mouth right now.
I don't think I can swallow. Not when I'm still thinking of how that man had forcefully kissed me.

I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes to settle in for the night. Kelvin gave me a forehead kiss and he was about leaving I held his hand.
"Please stay," I whispered.

I didn't want to be alone with my thoughts right now. Sure I'll eventually face what had happened but for now I just didn't want to be alone.

Kelvin nodded slightly and laid down beside me on the bed.
He held me so tight and I felt comfortable with his presence. Slowly, the fear left me, and I fell asleep.
By the time I woke up, he was gone.
