Fire doesn't exist without its light (Kai x Jay)

Chapter 2

Kais pov.

"Jay" I shook his shoulder slightly.

"mhhh." he opened his eyes and yawned.

"I made you soup" he sat up on the bed and I sat on the edge again. With the bowl in my hands.

"thank you. Give me the bowl." he put out his hands.

"it's hot you will burn your hands and I don't thing you will hold it properly as it is heavy and you are weaker when you are sick." I smiled at him.

He looked at me weirdly "what about you? Won't you burn yourself?"

"I don't think that you forgot because you are sick but because you are stupid. We are ninja, Jay"

"and?"

"oh god. You really are stupid. What is my element?"

"Fi-ohhh. Hahaha" I rolled my eyes. "you didn't reply to my question earlier?"

"no questions, now. Eat!"

After he ate

"now question" he said proudly.

"no, now sleep. Bye jay, have a nice sleep see you later." I was almost out.

"Kai" he raised his voice a bit and I turned around slowly.

"I said no questions"

"I won't ask anything"

"then?"

"I don't want to stay alone. Come sleep with me."

"for real?" he hummed, tapping next to him. He got under the covers and I followed.

"what?"

"nothing. It's just weird for you to allow someone on your bed"

"no you are weird and don't reply on my questions. Would you rather do that instead?"

"no?"

"ok. So go to sleep" he was facing me with his eyes closed and started shivering after he was asleep.

I embraced him, getting closer to me, as my body temperature is warm. He snagged closer to me, closing the distance of our bodies.

After 5 mins (Kai's isn't asleep)
Jay's pov

I opened my eyes to feel Kai's hands his warmth around me. "I love you" I said.

Kai's pov

I was thinking about how the other would be doing when I heard Jays voice "I love you"

I laughed "I love you too"

"I thought you were asleep"

"me too"

"I was but I just woke up"

"did I wake you? " I said and he raised his head from my chest to look at my face.

"no, you didn't"

"I replied to your question now, right?"

"yeah, you did."

"can I kiss you?"

He moved closer and our lips touched, I heard the door open and I pulled away so I could look back.

"Cole, Zane? Why didn't you knock?"

"Here you go." Zane said giving Cole 5 dollars.

"haha thanks you guys" Cole said looking at us.

"did you make a bet on us?" I said angrily.

"perhaps" Cole said and Zane slipped away. "ey don't leave me alone in this." Cole ran up to Zane.

I looked at Jay in shock. "Nya I need my 5 dollars" Cole said.

"What? Nya you were on this too?" I shouted.

"sorry"

"traitor"

"don't scream. My head hurts." Jay complained.

"oh sorry I forgot. Let's sleep some more, shall we?" I said and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
