Beth suddenly stops in her tracks.

"Charlie! I know exactly where we should go!"

I start panting like mad. I can't catch my breath, I have asthma for all things precious.

"W-where?" I breathlessly gasp.

She gasps. "Charlie! Are you okay?" She rushes over to me.

I say nothing, I'm still trying to catch my breath. With all this panting and gasping, my knees give out and I fall.

She picks me up bridal style. Even with all this lung wheezing, I can still feel a blush come to my cheeks.

"E-Eli, I can still walk..."

"Then why'd you fall, huh?"

I don't even have the energy to be annoyed right now.

"Whatever." I catch ny breath again.

"Anyway, I know where we are." She declares.

"Really?" I look perplexed.

"Yep. We go this way to my grandmother's house. It isn't anywhere near here, but I have a clue where to go."

"Where?"

"There's a meadow somewhere around her. It's beautiful. I've always wanted to bring you there."

What does she mean?

"Why me?" I ask. She sets me down.

"I- Nevermind..."

Weird...

"Just... Follow me."

"Alright?"

I follow her down the road, we turn a few corners, and finally. Finally, we're here.

"Wow..." I say in awe.

She grins and grabs my hand. She pulls me into the flowers.

This moment feels like Heaven on Earth. Literally. The girl I'm in love with, holding my hand and pulling me through beautiful flowers. I couldn't ask for more.

Eventually, we both run out of air and lay right in the middle of the meadow.

We giggle, still holding hands. We look right into each other's eyes. We notice each other blushing. Wait...
