Lavender's Pov
Lavender's 20
2 years ago"Yeah baby, suck that big cock." I heard a deep grunting moan. As I stared at myself in the restroom mirror. The faucet running as I placed my hands in the water to wash them.
The high pitch of a giggle and more groaning came from the handicap stall from my left. I bit my lips to stop the comical laugh trying to burst free from my throat.
"You suck my cock so good darlin'." Came the raspy note of the man. I could hear the slurping of the woman on her knees. I arched my eyebrow at myself in the mirror before drying my hands. Checking my wrist watch to see I still had ten minutes left before they needed me back behind the bar.
Who am I to break up a fuck-fest in the bathroom of a titty bar. Everyone has their kinks, but as I make my way past them to the door I spot the silver six inch stripper heels and rolled my eyes.
"Glitter your on in ten." I said as I knocked on the stall.
I could hear the man panting as Glitter came up from air. "Thanks sweetness be out in two." I smiled to myself as I heard her getting back to her business as I pushed myself through the door.
The dark hallway breaking towards the stage as one of the dancers twirled her last trick on the pole before coming down into a splits.
The flashy red and white lights in the dark, dank room blinding me and searing into my head giving an ache as a migraine started to form.
The thumping of Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard finally stopping as the small town drunks clapped for Star on stage.
The smell of cigerettes and stale beer clogged my senses as I got back behind the bar. My shift still two hours away from being over.
I pulled out some Don Juilo, the shot burning as I took it in quick before pouring another for myself. If I had to be here any later alcohol was required, plus I wasn't driving so me being tipsy was for ever ones benefit if they wanted me somewhat tolerable before closing.
I loved my job don't get me wrong, just some nights were better than others. And tonight I had this feeling like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop or like I lost something really important.
It was annoying me like crazy. Like a stupid song that you can only remember the melody, but not the actually lyrics to figure out what the song is called. Whatever. I just knew something I felt didn't seem right.
Plus my bra was digging in uncomfortably, and I was cramping so I'm sure my period was just around the corner.
"Hey Sweetness you got one of those for me." I glanced up to see that Glitter had finally emerged from her extra curricular activities.
She was watching me carefully as she pointed at the tequila.
"Sure, No Problem." I poured her one quickly. Before placing the Tequila back on the shelf.
"So who was the guy." I smirked curiously out at Glitter.
She downed the shot without making a face. Before giving me a sly smile in return. "Just someone I call when I'm feeling a little randy and don't want to take care of it myself."
"Sounds to me he wasn't taking care of anything it was you doing all the work."
She shrugged while licking her collegen puffy lips, "I like sucking dick. It's such a power dynamic to have them react in such a way to where you have all the control."
I arched my eyebrow, "Can't say I ever felt that."
She giggled, her long golden hair catching the light making it sparkle like little gold flakes. Glitter was only twenty-nine and pretty, but she was the oldest dancer in the club and she was always trying to make her appearance seem younger by alternating her body with fake boobs, fake lips, lipo suction, and botox. She'd been stuffed, poked, and prodded more than a Christmas pig.
"Lavey you have to get out there. Live a little."
"No thanks, I'm fine just right here."
She gave me a roll of her eyes before giving my shoulder a light push. "You will never find yourself unless you try."
"And you have found yourself." The comment slipped out before I could think.
"Shit, I am sorry that was rude of me."
She places a gentle hand on my arm. My gaze catching hers. "I'm not offended. Do I want to take my clothes off infront of old drunks for the rest of my life? No. But I have lived, experienced and I'm happy with who I am. You're a good girl Lavey, and I think you deserve more than this place."
I could feel the sting of water behind my eyes as I heard her gentle tone. And she was right obviously if I had a mother it would've been something I wish she would have said, but I didn't. It was a dancer that not only I have known for a year, but never really saw her other than a friendly co-worker.
My life was work, pay bills, eat, and repeat. I was only twenty, and I still felt as alone and trapped as I did the day they took Asher away.
I shook my head clearing awful memories, and swallowing the lodge in my throat. "Your right. It's time I start to live. No more good girl Lavey."
Glitter giggled loudly, "Let's toast to it."
And with that a new era began.
