"so" johnny states as he inquired he had something to tell you.

it's been four days since the incident after work. yuta has not glared at you since then.

could that be considered as improvement or just pitifulness?

it didn't matter to you, as long as you didn't feel judged by him everyday. it was fine with you.

"we still have to wait for taeyong to come so i can inform all of you at the same time" johnny says as he takes a seat on the couch with yuta while you and jaehyun snack in the kitchen.

"how important could it be that you have to have all of us together?" jaehyun questions, not exactly to johnny but out loud.

"you'll see" johnny says almost ominously.

either way, you guys waited until taeyong stepped through the front door. and he did not long after.

"can i change real quickly?" taeyong asks and johnny nods.

the rest of us are now anxious about what's going to happen, sharing questioning glances.

"alright" taeyong pops back into the living room.

"okay. so, i'm moving back to my hometown" johnny announces directly.

"what!" you exclaim in shock.

"how come?" jaehyun asks while frowning a bit.

the both of you joining the rest in the living room now.

"i got some business to take care of but it's not confirmed when i'll be coming back, IF i do come back" johnny explains.

your face contorts in slight sadness and disappointment.

"what about the lease? is it not under your name?" yuta asks.

"it is. i'll still be paying my part, don't worry" johnny clarifies.

"when do you leave?" taeyong then asks.

"in a week" johnny sighs. "i wish i had more time to prepare, sorry guys" he apologizes for the abrupt news.

"it's okay, it can't be helped. we'll take care of this place" you pat his back in comfort along with a reassuring smile.

"if you don't come back, will we get a new roommate?" jaehyun questions out of curiosity.

"i mean, most likely. it's up to you guys since the rent is split between the five of us" johnny replies.

"have you started packing yet?" you asked cautiously, yet in a sad tone.

"somewhat, just some clothes right now" he replies. "how about we all have dinner together before i leave? that's my only wish from you guys" he proposes.

"of course. sometime next week then?" taeyong looks around and we all nod.

you could only hope for this week to go as slowly as possible.

unfortunately, the day where you'll be having dinner is two days before his flight. and the day is here. so you were now getting out of your work clothes to get dinner ready.

it's tuesday and you were super glad your shift ended early.

johnny had asked for dinner at home so that's what you were gonna do.

while prepping everything for the feast, jaehyun comes in. he gives you a smile before taking off his shoes and heading to his room.

the mood was definitely a little depressing inside the apartment. everyone knew johnny was like the sunshine or jokester of the place which always brought comfort to whoever needed it.
