"yes, it was chaos" you tell johnny over the phone.

"that makes me miss my brother, man... tell mark i miss him" johnny sighs.

"you can tell him yourself" you chuckle. "plus, i don't even see mark, so how could i?" you make sense of it.

"it's boring over here, all of my childhood friends have their own lives away now and i'm just surrounded by my family here" he says. "i mean, it's not like i don't like being with them, it's just not the same" he explains and you hum.

"maybe the guys and i can visit you soon, who knows?" you put the idea out there.

"yeah, especially since i can't leave anytime soon" he sighs once again.

"we miss you, it really doesn't feel the same" you say sadly.

"i miss having roommates too. it was better than i expected" he reminisces.

"yeah, i have to agree with that" you say back.

you both continued to talk about other stuff going on in your lives before he had to go.

after you hung up, you just stayed laying on the couch in the living room. you had nothing better to do tonight.

maybe a little nap could help with the sadness.

but before you could even move, taeyong came inside the living room and sat on the couch, plopping down beside you.

"you were on the phone with him?" he asks you, turning his head slightly towards you.

it somehow became a rule that johnny's name shouldn't be mentioned when talking about him since it brought more sadness to your day.

"yeah... should we visit him next year?" you propose.

"i mean, sure. whenever we can fit it into our schedules" he responds and you nod.

you both just stay quiet and lean on each other's heads for a sense of comfort. you were glad you could still be friendly with taeyong after his confession.

he knew how to stay neutral when he needed to be.

your monday evening passed like this. you had eventually turned on the tv but still laid against taeyong on the couch.

it was a cloudy day, soon to be a rainy one which was the reason taeyong stayed home.

the peacefulness didn't last long since someone had just arrived home and was being very loud with unlocking the door.

both of your gazes take you to yuta, who's taking the keys out of the lock, seemingly annoyed at the fact that it got stuck.

once he's done with that, his lifts up his head and looks at you.

"i thought you were working the whole day?" taeyong questions him.

"we closed earlier today" yuta gives him a short explanation.

after yuta takes off his shoes, he heads towards his room.

not even 3 minutes later, he's dressed in more comfortable clothes and stops by the living room.

"y/n, let's go" yuta calls out for you.

"huh?" you sit up alertedly.

"you're going somewhere?" taeyong asks a little surprised.

"i... think so?" you reply.

"come on" yuta rushes you and you stand up to go put on your shoes as well.

you couldn't tell if this was a good or bad thing but you decided to follow him anyway. at least you were wearing decent clothes.

"w-where are we going?" you ask him as he drags you towards the elevator of the apartment complex.
