"Uhm... mom, dad," Sam nervously said while looking at our parents. He was standing infront of us with Lianne on her side. While Mom and Dad was patiently waiting on what news Sam would tell them.
Lumingon siya kay Lianne na nginitian lang siya na may pag-tango pa. Napahinga ng malalim si Sam at hinawakan ang kamay ni Lianne.
O.M.GASH! Don't tell me...
"I know you already knew her but I want to formally introduce her once again to you guys," pasimula ni Sam saka huminga na naman ng malalim, I could see how Sam rubs Lianne's hand using his thumb.
"Spill it son," sabi ni papa na parang alam niya na kung anong mangyayari habang si mama naman ay walang ka-clue clue sa nangyayari.
"This is Lianne Trish Ramirez, she's my... girlfriend."
Even though I already know what's going on, I was still on shock! Like how? Paano nagka-gf tong bruhang 'to?
Mom's eyes immediately shined like she was seeing stars while dad was smiling ear-to-ear. Ako? Nakanganga lang at hindi makapaniwala sa nangyayari.
"Hello po tita, tito. I hope-" hindi pa man natapos ni Lianne ang sinasabi niya ay niyakap kaagad silang dalawa ni mama.
"I'm really happy for the both of you!" halata ngang masaya si mama eh. "Oh my! My Sam has a girlfriend na! Binata ka na nga talaga nak!" banat pa ni mama saka kinurot ang pisngi ni Sam. Napasimangot naman si Samson habang tawa naman ng tawa 'tong si papa.
I don't know how to feel. Sure, I was happy for my brother but why it has to be Lianne? Everyone at school always describes her as an 'arrogant' kind of girl, and I hate arrogant people. Plus! Hindi ko pa rin tanggap 'yung sinabi niya tungkol sa akin sa Potato Corner na mas maganda pa raw siya kesa sakin.
At tsaka, nag-swear din ako sa sarili ko na I would never crossed paths with her. And here she is! In front of me, stupidly smiling at both my parents.
Mom instantly planned to have a celebration picnic near the beach. She was really thrilled that her one-and-only son has his first girlfriend.
"Ito kayang si Sol, magkaka-bf pa ba 'to?" suddenly, the topic was me. My eyebrows met as I heard what my mom said.
"Stop that mom." Pero tumawa lang naman si mama.
So as what my mom planned, nag-picnic nga kami kasama 'yung 'couples'. Great! Magdo-double date ba silang apat? Eh Ako lang 'yung single dito!
