SCHOOL

Taehyun and Yeonjun are in the broadcasting room waiting for Mrs. Lee. They're missing lunch time right now, almost 5 minutes have passed. No one has said a word. They really won't get along at this rate. Yeonjun said hi when he walked in, but Taehyun didn't say it back.

Taehyun started playing with his silver bracelet. It made a clanging noise each time a pendant hits the table. Meanwhile, the guy next to him is staring off into space.

Yeonjun can't stop thinking about his conversation with Soobin last night. Now he's eager to do something.

LAST NIGHT

"You like her, don't you?" Soobin said out of the blue.

Yeonjun kept his back away from him. He didn't want to answer, so he waited until Soobin did. He continued cleaning the table as if a question wasn't asked.

Soobin crossed his arms, "Yeonjun, do you like her?" He's being persistent about this. Soobin doesn't move an inch until Yeonjun speaks. He drops the cleaning towel and lets out a big sigh of defeat. He slowly turned back and leaned against the countertop.

"It's a secret." He watched as Soobin's expression turned from neutral to surprised. Yeonjun scoffs and walked away. Soobin got frantic.

"Wait, I was right?!" he exclaimed, following Yeonjun around. Yeonjun was about to go upstairs but the younger one grabbed him.

"You really like her?!" Yeonjun groaned at Soobin's nagging.

He turned around and said, "I really like her." he later left him alone on the stairs.

Soobin went after him until he reached his room. "What now?" He argues.

"When did you start liking her? I was teasing the both of you for so long because I thought I was wrong but-"

"Do you want to know that bad?" Yeonjun interrupts. Soobin nods his head aggressively and Yeonjun drags him into his room.

"Mom and Dad can't hear about this. It's embarrassing." Soobin sits attentively on the bed waiting for Yeonjun to speak.

"What do you want to know first?"

Soobin thinks for a moment, "When did this start?" Yeonjun grabs his rolling chair and sits down.

"From the start." he replies. Soobin's puzzled. He tilts his head to show he's confused.

"What do you mean?"

"When we were kids. I already liked her since then. I thought she was pretty and I wanted to become friends with her." he explained.

"She had this look that I thought was admirable." His cheeks turn pink thinking back to those days.

Soobin rests his elbows on his knees. "So, Na-rae is the only girl you liked? There wasn't anyone else?"

He blushes, "Yes, she's the only one." Soobin admired his loyalty to her. "But she moved before middle school. You still liked her while she was gone?"

Yeonjun lightly chuckles. "I thought I was over her. Well, I forced myself to get over her. But... I would always catch myself thinking about her. I would ask questions like: What did she do today? Is she doing okay? Did she forget about me? Those were the types of questions I would ask." he smiles, "When she came back, it's like those feelings never went away. Not only did I get those feelings again, they came back differently."

"Differently?" Soobin asked. Yeonjun then came to realization that he poured out his feelings for Na-rae to his brother.

"Hold on, why do you want to know so bad?" Yeonjun asks. Soobin pouts and he looked offended.
